SUCCESS at LAST!!! Another Fix For 0xc000007b Crash I Was Having

Guys after weeks of frustration & fiddling (but NO flying) I finally got to fix the non start of DCS 0007b issue I was having..

I felt I should post this as separate thread to help others in same fix.

Today I got referred by MOJOE to SANCHO's thread - link below.

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=87510&page=2

After using Sancho's Dependency Walker program and downloading a file he had posted, finally DCS is up and running! Seems that the D3DX9_43 I had in my Windows Sytem32 was a 32, and not a 64 bit file. Such a simple solution to such a, (for me), major problem. They say these PC's only have the intelligence of a cockroach. A child can see this but not an old cluttered brain like mine!

Thanks again for sticking with me and your patience and help. Skatezilla, eXpert, Alisia, Mojoe, Sancho and other's I may have missed. Much appreciated.

Hope to (eventually) see you in the skies someday. (Now to get the A10C wound up - The Falcon BMS? Maybe another day:)

Great I remember that from way back, quite a few updates ago though. surprised it was pertinent or even relevant in todays ver. but it is video card related. as having new drivers for GPU would add the needed ver. of D3D to your system.

Glad you are up and running.

Thx a lot for this help !!!

The D3DX9_43.dll mentioned in the above thread was for my 64bit system the reason, that DCS won´t even start. Threfore no log file ect. My problems began a few months ago with updating win7 64bit. Even a rollback to a previous version hasn´t solved this problem.

Thanks to those mentioned on this thread. I had my problem with D3DX9_43.dl solved as well.

Best Regards.
