BBQ Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Reminds me of an old TV show "Amazing Stories" by Spielberg -- only in the show, it was either a B-17, or a Liberator :) Anyone remember? Anyway, yeah, in the second campaign mission (takeoff and climb to 1000 feet), I landed and parked next to this hovering P51. There were a few other Mustangs on the tarmac, and they were hovering as well.
joey45 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 B-17. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Vedexent Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I saw an example of this last night on our server spectating someone doing an "out of fuel road landing". Just at the end of the landing, the wheels retracted into the fuselage, but the Su-25 happily stayed at the same height, Star Wars land-speeder style.
Pepec9124 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) I though that you were hovering vertically with P-51. Thread names are deceiving. Stupid bugs. Edited October 22, 2013 by Pepec9124
Pyroflash Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 It's a bug. The hovering thing happens with all aircraft BTW. At least they don't sink into the ground anymore though. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
