Malakie Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Just a quick clarification... Does DCS World update all the modules installed or do we need to do manual updates as well? Been a while since I have been online and I cannot remember if that is the case for sure.. Take it light... Fifi Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Yes it does. In example here, you can see modules updated as well as DCS World http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1892527&postcount=2 But not all modules are updated... only when an update is avalaible for them of course! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Flagrum Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Just a quick clarification... Does DCS World update all the modules installed or do we need to do manual updates as well? Been a while since I have been online and I cannot remember if that is the case for sure.. DCS World and all modules are kept up to date by the DCS world autoupdater. There is (usually) no need to apply updates manually.
cichlidfan Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 There is (usually) no need to apply updates manually. There actually is no way to apply updates 'manually'. Yes, not as a "patch", but one could perform a manual install of a newer version of a module that he downloaded from the products page. Bottom line is at least, one does not need to download anything by hand to get the latest version of a module.
Irregular programming Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 You can also manually update by running the updater with parameters.
