Hi all

is it possible to check for unit type in a zone ?

say " soldier m4" in zone1

Basically Messing around with dropping troops in mi-8 and hueys and wanted to say a zone was secure when the troops are on the ground and the reds are dead.

If someone with much better knowledge could point me in the right direction that would be great. I have looked at the wiki but could not find a reference.

You could use http://wiki.hoggit.us/view/Units_in_zones to check if a unit/group is in the zone, passing a unit table (see the MIST PDF for creating a unit table).

You can get the latest version of http://wiki.hoggit.us/view/Mission_Scripting_Tools_Documentation which had a PDF. Look at the "UnitNameTables" section

Also big...

If you use a tool like CTTS, you'll need to merge its functions with MIST through a quick modification of the CTTS file. It's easy to do and takes about 10 seconds... if you need to do that then let me know and I'll see if I can dig up the script mod that grimes helped me out with.
