Gloom Demon Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) On several occasions my Su-25T HUD was incorrectly showing the horizon. Is this a bug, or was I doing something wrong? This is especially visible on the second photo where on the HUD the aircraft is aligned to fly straight, however the real horizon implies that it doesn't. Nate--IRL-- Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Did you wait 3 minutes for the Gyro to align after turning on the Electrical systems? You can't move the aircraft during this period. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
Gloom Demon Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) No I didn't, but normally this doesn't happen despite the fact, that I am often too anxious to get in the air and do not pay attention to the ADI (maybe HSI too) being misaligned. Do You think that it has to do with the gyros?
