Hi golfsierra2,

 

I have an 32-bit Win XP OS.

Sometime back, I had downloaded FC3 1.2.2 beta version and later DCS World 1.2.3.

Now after installing DCS 1.2.3, it won't let me install the FC3 1.2.2 beta.

I am stuck with the Su25T only.

Can you help me get the FC3 1.2.3 version? I do not mind if it is beta.

 

my specs: Core 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz/Intel MB/4GB RAM/ Nvidia 650 Card(1GB VRAM).

Hello apollace,

 

try it please the "auto updater" function.

 

Start the Windows Command Promot "cmd.exe", change to your DCS installation "cd c:\Programs\Eagle Dynamic\DCS World\bin" (inklusive the bin folder).

Start the Modul installation wihte "DCS_updater.exe install FC3".

 

This should install the module in the version in which also is "DCS World".

As the OP stated, he has a 32 bit operating system, so the latest 1.2.6 build won't work for him.

 

That said, 1.2.5 should still work. I have no idea whether the 1.2.5 module manager will work given that we are at 1.2.6, but if it does it solves the FC3 problem.

Uuuhm... the links seem to be dead.

 

The only chance I see now is to contact ED support and ask for the old version.

You can only use the updater command line to go back so far, I dont think it will let you go back to 1.2.3 from anything 1.2.4 and Newer.

 

When I get home from Office I'll see if I still have the 1.2.3 Torrent and files (pretty sure I do.).

 

 

Alternatively

You can install DCSW 1.2.3, from whatever you have,

 

Update to the last version of 1.2.3.

Run DCS_Updater.exe update 1.2.3.10201

 

Then Install FC3 manually

Run DCS_Updater.exe install FC3
