O_Smiladon Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Crashing black screen..Kernal diver mode error 331.40..stuff. Is any one having this issue? I am ..been looking on the gforce forums for a fix.. And it seems that I may have a bitcoin mining virus.. causes the system to go into overload, fans going haywire and temps rising then i get a massage Kernal diver mode error. Just a FYI if anyone is haveing the same issue. P.S I was an ATI guy have gone over to the darkside but to be honnest I was not having this prob with the ATI car in. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ENO Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Hmmm... another guy- XXX JohnnyXXX or something like that had a similar issue and rolled back to the 331.20 series driver and that solved his issue. Can't remember the specific driver- but seems to me the 331.40 wasn't working for him either. It was on a different card, mind you- but may still be worth the roll back. O_Smiladon Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 Hi ENO, Yeah tride that, rolled all the back to 314.22 after some advise on the gforce forum's. That did not fix the issue.. Then I read up on this bitcoin virus and the symptoms i am getting is right on the button on whats is happening to my PC. As well you can get this virus through skype which my kids use .
