the_soupdragon Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I know this is a much discussed topic but I just can't get my head around how to set this up. I have read peterp's post but I just end up confused (information overload) I just cannot get my monitors to line up correctly. I will post a pic of my issue at the end of this post. I am using 3 identical monitors with a resolution of 1920x1080 I am using kegetys softTH at the moment with a view of going matrox TH2GO this is what I get when in the cockpit. As you can see the screen do not line up. Hope some of you knowledgable chaps can help me out. Cheers SD [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
IADC Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I found the easiest way was to adjust the monitor heights on the side monitors. I know its now the answer u are after but i found this the easiest option.
Dagger98 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 On nvidia hw it is called "adjust for display bezels (edges)", fig 6 in this pdf illustrates http://www.club-3d.com/isotope/i/id-3d-vision-surround-setup-ba7464bd.pdf
GregP Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Likewise if you're using AMD cards, in the Catalyst Control Center you should choose Adjust Bezel Compensation.
acemark Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 hello SD . IN the pic ,it appears that your monitors are butted togeather. If you overlap the monitors bezels [place center monitor in front of or behind of the 2 side monitors ] you can reduce bezel width by half. The screens will seam to be flat when viewing. PS. their should be a law limitting bezels width on all monitors. Mark. _Dredd Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 If you use SoftTH you can use SoftTH Config Tool to assist with assigning the values for margins or bezels. First there some google articles that show you how to work out your bezel width in pixels, then once you have these values just use SoftTH config tool to assign to the monitors. I've done this with my setup. It's a lot easier using the config tool then manually editing the cfg file.
