ogry Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Hello Guys / girls I have recently joined the fraternity so this may be a stupid question. Having installed FC3 I decided to complete the training missions in the F15-C prior to attempting any actual combat. My problem is this: the graphic quality in the training missions is no where near as good as actual missions. Is this a setting problem or am I missing something?
Mustang Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 It's been a LONG time since i checked the F-15C training missions, when you mean by poor quality do you mean the terrain or everything in general? If it's the terrain then this might help you out http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=118277
blackbelter Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I guess he meant those training videos... I don't think there are training missions for FC3 planes. All we have are training videos, which undoubtedly are of low quality... I agree with OP that interactive training missions such as those for Su-25T are long overdue for FC3..
Surakon Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I am new to DCS/FC3 and I was wondering the same thing, training for FC3 are videos only and poor quality. I have Lock ON patched to 1.2 is this as far as it goes??? I tried training in Lock ON for F15, there is no voice for Instructor. It doesn't seem to have the option to take control of aircraft? I tried Training in DCS World for FC3/F15, like I said videos are poor quality, there is an Instructor with voice but again there doesn't seem to be the option to take control of aircraft?? Actually, all the training for FC3 in DCS World just seem to be videos? Thanks for any Help [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
sgtmike74 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 A work around for the lack of training could be to check out some of the online squadrons. We had a number of new people show up on the 77th's server and ask a lot of questions and got help. There are other online squadrons too that have friendly members that I am sure would be able to give assistance with the sim.
