CD Code ? :Just got LOMAC from eBay Reseller as Green Pepper UbiSoft Edition

Hey,

I finally bought LOMAC on eBay from a used-games Reseller and the CD Booklet arrived today in the mail. The CD seems to be fine, the double-folded leavelet

is included but I didnt see any Code Sticker, neither on the booklet, leavelet or on the CD itself.

My questions:

Is this normal or am I missing the most important part ?

Am I right that I need to install LOMAC first, then add FC3 from the download page (once I bought it online ) and then install a fresh copy of DCS 1.2.6 on top and then best re-install a fresh 1.2.7 upd1 beta so I can copy locally as much as possible ?

Check Six !

Frohes Neues Jahr!

For the original Lock-On, you don't need an activation code.

For the installation of Flaming Cliffs 3, you need to install Lock-on first, because FC3 is looking for the installation as a prerequisite (this is a license problem between ED and Ubisoft). You don't need to run Lock-On and can de-install it once FC3 was installed successfully.

You also need to install DCS:World for FC3, because FC3 also requires it to be installed in order to run FC3. This is, because FC3 is a DCS Module.

You can run FC3 with any DCS:World version, but I recommend to use the latest.

LockOn before FC3. DCS World before FC3. LockOn and DCS World can be installed in any order.

Definitely install v1.2.6 completely before installing the Open Beta, for the reason you stated.

Thanks a lot golfsieraa2 & cichlidfan :)

I just finished my download of FC3 online purchase and will do as described above.

Makes me happy to see I don't need to deinstall DCS 126/127 before FC3 installation. That really

is appreciated.

Another question that arises now that I have the A-10A and Su-25A as standalone module in addition to FC3 that has them included:

My son seems to be getting interested in DCS ( he's a vivid FPS gamer and I think he should start playing "REAL" things instead of BF-Bull*$§&t ) and I wonder if it is LEGAL to transfer the 2 standalone Modules to his account/my 2nd account ? It would be nice if I could enable those two AC on his Asus G73 and get him going as a Wild Weasel !! haha

Thanks alot pacotito ;)

I will then transfer the 2 standalone modules to my 2nd account and put him in the training class ;)

..eventually I will have to get another Kamov too, he just loves to watch that bird flying and he also did some online kills recently when I had to ... for 3 minutes.

It is alot easier to learn those hardcore modules with a dad aside that knows them "almost" inside out instead of what I had to do, PDFs over PDFs and youtube videos etc...
