Hi,

 

I am making a mission on which you start on a ship (Huey on Normandy), and I noticed you don't stay put on the ship if it is moving (you slide). So I thought make the ship stationary, take off, then trigger the ship to move. Is there a way to do that without AI off? I still want it to be able to blow up stuff.

It isn't that important, just if I am missing an easy option I would be happy to know.

Hadn't noticed it, tried it, only vehicule groups show up in the list :(. Thanks for the reply anyways.

Hmmm... I know ships are quite limited in what they can be told to do.

 

 

I went into the miz file on a quick test mission with just a group hold on a vehicle group, and placed a ship in it. The idea was to see if there was a way to copy the vehicle hold over to the ship- then save the miz file so it worked the same way.

 

Looking through it, however- I think there are probably a couple of places that would need to be adjusted and that's not my forte to say the least!

 

 

Might just need to wait until it gets fixed.

What's the name of the ship group?

Just had a try and it seems it is not possible..

Ok, got it, using scripting and mist. The two screenshots should be self-explanatory. Ship Group called "ship" and a Trigger zone called Z1 used as waypoint.
