I had to remap my stick, other than that I have no idea.

I get the feeling now that the multiple joystick configs are not going to be what I was hoping for. But, actually, I don't really know what is new about the stick configs. Does all it mean is that two of the same stick can be plugged in at the same time? I was hoping for multiple configs that could be automatically switched depending upon which plane I chose to fly.

After 45 mins of play at 169 server with their scenes set to maximum I have to say so far de difference in perfomance is impressive. with 1.1 and 1.11 I was unable to join without having 1 or more crashes.

1.11 patch had a nice effect on stutering with minimal FPS drop but this one comes with FPS and stability together.

Thumbs up!

I seem to be getting a LOT of TEWS ghosts. Needs more testing though. Also, the accuracy of the radar scan altitudes seems questionable. I had a test mission where I knew the target's bearing, range, and altitude. I put the TDC at his range and put the radar altitude where he should be. I didn't get a return until I move the scan well above where he was. I was at 17k and he was at 40k so there should be any problem getting a strong return.

Correct scan altitudes are very important now with the corrected TWS modelling.

Besides the TEWS ghosts, has anyone noticed locks getting dropped for no apparent reason?

I have an untested theory on the TEWS ghosts. It seems to be that they happen when a radar goes beyond the RWR limits. If it stops spiking within the limits, it goes away. I could be very wrong, but that is what first occurred to me.

no change to fps, maybe even a bit less (it seems so on my machine)

it still stutters in MP on 504 when ppl are blowing up stuff I don't even see

so no major change

Don't get me wrong. I'm very happy with the progress ED does towards ultimate sim - with every single patch :icon_supe

I have seen a increase in FPS, but maybe that's due to the fact that I now have 2 gigs of RAM instead of 1. and I disabled all the mods and FPS fixes that I had. Need to reinstall the fixes and see what happens.

I voted for #5. The only SP issue I have noticed, which changed, is that my A-10 RHAW is borked. Contacts stay there, even after they die, not good. I'll be going back to 1.11 as soon as I'm done dealing with my web-site and life, in general. 1.12 is borked enough to represent a safety-of-flight no-go for me. Appeciate the effort, ED, but maybe you should just withdraw the patch until it fixes more than it breaks. ;) No worries...don't rush it, gents, 1.11 is good enough for me. :D
