britgliderpilot Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Think these are the limits for the Su27S - I'm specifically interested in the second pic. Any info you can give would be appreciated :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
nscode Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Yes, some are limitation values, some reference values (for landings, max gear extension speed, etc) Don't have time to go over it whole, but u can get some idea what they are talking about if you know that Пу = G УАП = greek alpha = AOA км/ч = km/h but note that these values are normal operation values, that you should fallow in order to insure sufficent life span of the aircraft systems. If needs must, a knowing pilot can push a bit above these values. Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
britgliderpilot Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 I'm looking for standard fuel loads - I think the bit at the top of the second pic refers to fuel and weapons loadings. Any tips? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
nscode Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 6. Max takeoff mass 33000 kg (with wheeles KH-41 with with pneumatics 017A and wheels KT-156D with pneumatics model 2A) Max takeoff mass 28000 kg (with wheeles KH-27 with with pneumatics 016A, wheels KT-156D with pneumatics 2A) then mass with diffferent missile loads, but can't see which is fuel :( Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
Gazehound Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Brit - perhaps do you have a D/L link to the whole manual - someone posted it a while back but I could not get a valid .zip from it, only from the MiG29 link (which I already had). Thanks VVS504 Red Hammers

Thanks Unfortunately not - I don't recall where I got it from, but IIRC it was time-limited for some good reason. Can try looking again. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg

Wonder if anyone's planning an English translation of the Su27 flight manual? IIRC the English MiG manual was from the MiG29G, so the hard work had already been done by the military . . . . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg

fbm Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 6) … Rated take off mass – 23250 (fuel – 5090, 2*Р27+2*Р-73, nondetachable avionics, gun munition) … Max total mass of Р27, Р-73 missiles – 1950 ... 8)Max landing mass –21000 including fuel - 3560 and no missiles or with fuel - 2440 and 2*Р27+2*Р-73 landings with mass 21000 but no more then 23000 are permitted as an exception to thе rule, but not more often than 3% of the total number of landings Enough?
nscode Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 And below I think its takeoff mass with 2xP-27+2xP-73 and 9920 kg of fuel = 27380 kg gama t is either fuel specification l/kg (different fuels are available, with different specific mass) or its "flight load factor", but load not meening ammount of mass caried, but the amout of forces effecting airframe/performance.. this factor is calculated for each flight configuration and determens some of the limitations... eg. max rate of climb is 100 m/min for factors <1 and 75 m/min for factors >1 (these are not true values, but just for description) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
