theJournier Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) I wonder if anyone has had random engine damage whilst taking off... Anyone know what causes it? It usually happens sometimes when I reach 200kph and I sometimes loose control and die. It p's me off cause taxiing can take a while. Edited January 28, 2014 by theJournier

theJournier Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 Bird strike maybe? Check whether it is enabled in the settings. So that's what the bird slider was about... It's been a while but I seem to remember blowing a few tires on take-off. Never had that happen, unless I've touched dirt while taking off... although I'm a notoriously hard lander and I've blown tires that way. I've actually landed with minimal landing gear, sometimes using just my shoot, or no shoot at all and just air-brakes.
