Fix for DSMS Quick Look bug There is a bug with the training mission where it hangs at the DSMS Quick Look, as Wolf Rider mentions. You can fix it one of 2 ways, on the fly or permanent: 1. On the Fly during the mission: The mission expects BOTH MFCDs to display the DSMS page. When you quick look the DSMS using Coolie Down Long, only the left MFCD displays the DSMS page. I bet you your right one is still on the TGP page. To get the mission to continue, you have to (temporarily) set your right MFCD to display the DSMS page. To do so, on the right MFCD, PRESS AND HOLD OSB-12 (MSG) until DISPLAY PROGRAM appears. Then press OSB-18 (DSMS) once to highlight it, then press OSB-12 (MSG) again (don't hold it this time). All that this does is change OSB-12 function from MSG to DSMS. Now press OSB-12 (DSMS) again on the right MFCD. To display the DSMS page. You can now safely do Coolie Down Long for a few seconds so that the LEFT MFCD displays the DSMS page. As soon as you finish with that command, the mission will proceed. You can, at your discretion, change the OSB-12 function back to MSG, but it's not really needed for this mission. 2. Permanent fix Open the mission file in the Mission Editor page, and go to the "Set rules for trigger" option on the left hand column. Scroll down the triggers until you see the one called "1 ONCE (Quick-look chk)". Click on it, you will see 3 Conditions appear on the center window. You need to DELETE the 3rd condition (the one with MFCD_RIGHT_PAGE), then save the mission. Hope this helps a few. Gopher3 points

Добрый день. На текущий момент, сделано довольно много обучающего англоязычного видео по применению систем A10C. Я решил немного восполнить пробел и записал свой вариант видео по использованию Оперативных точек (MARK POINT) в качестве целеуказания для JDAM боеприпасов (GBU-38, GBU-31). Эта методика позволяет за один заход поразить несколько одиночных, хорошо защищенных целей. В моем примере 4. Всего доброго.1 point

I have worked hard on my previous "Dangerous Escalation" mission and produced "Finest Hour". After much testing, tweeking and re testing, I believe I have finally produced a close run mission, which will run more like a mini campain. I have reduced, or allowed for, as much of the AI's tendency to "do it their own way":cry:. This was a headache and was spoiling the "balance" I wished to create. I wanted you/us to be the decisive influence. It can ( and should ) take a minimum of 1 hour to complete. Try to stay alive until the "end", as there is an exciting conclusion. (In this mission "it aint over till its over":)) This is a mission I myself like to repeat fly and I hope you will all want to fly it a few times to see how it runs each evolution. Oh and if anyone has never seen how ED has modelled an ammo dump being blown up, you just might see it at the conclusion!:music_whistling: I have a couple of photo's as a taster. ( Another video would have just been an editing nightmare as there is so much going on here!) Enjoy and stay alive;) Finest Hour.zip1 point

Off, safe, and normal....only switches that aren't are bleed air and main air. But before my pilot steps to the ACFT I reset the 4 circuit breakers we pull and set the intercom panel, all four boost pumps on, and Enging gen switches on.1 point

Намудрили буржуины с хостас-шмостас , почешите правой пяткой за левым ухом . Практически не возможно действовать интуитивно , нет ощущения логической связи с нажатием переключателей и результатом . Интересно как строевые летчики отнеслись к хостас ? Особо порадовала система наведения маверика , пока стабилизируешь , рамка уже уползла , и всё с начала , в итоге начинать прицеливатся надо с 12-15км , а с такого растояния не понятно что захватила ракета шилку или камаз . Наш шквал и абрис смотрятся чудом эргономики .1 point

1. Ну я вообще-то и имел в ввиду ЛО2. Но что-то под ложечкой сосет в реале на русских Ла равно все проще, хотя бы судить в ЛО2 и ДКС, алгоритм разный и подход к применению оружия. Как у пистолета: цель- совместил мушку- выстрел и всё. У А-10С все намного замороченне, что бы подотовится к "пистолетному" выстрелу, приходится черову уйму операций сделать. Загодя. ( А-10А~Ce-25 (Т) ). Избыточно. ИМХО. Вот у меня уже А-10С 3-суток, а я так и не разобрался как цель захвтыать...:( ( программирую настройки. <где он, Ка-50? >) 2. Я тоже. 3. ЧЗН- Черт Знает Что ( Чо За Н...) правильно? З.Ы. Но я все равно освою. З.Ы.Ы. А по техн. пилот. на А-10С летать приятно, лучше, чем на Су-25 (Т), что есть, то есть.1 point

Летайте на русских самолетах- там все просто, как грабли. Ка-50, Су-25Т по сравнению с А-10С просто отдых. Гениальное- простое.:)1 point

After a few years of absence from flight sims, I thought it was time to get back into it again. Former Longbow 2, EEAH/EECH, Falcon 4, Janes F/A-18 player. I`m impressed by the complexity of this sim! And the graphics are beautiful. Currently just trying familiarize myself with the cockpit and different gadgets. Also have a few questions. - Did a multiplayer session with a friend of mine. During a LGB drop, my bomb didn't hit the target I was lasing. But a target by friend had his laser on. I was set up for auto lase on, with lasing 10 sec before impact. He had his laser on all the time. Was it due to similar lasercodes that my bomb tracked his laser instead of mine? If multiple people are dropping LGB`s, do you need to change laser code then? Does this apply when flying with AI planes as well? - TAD, how often do you fly with the map enabled? Is there some stuff I have missed that the map can be useful for? I have been in one circumstance where the map was helpful. A mission where I was operating close to the russian border, and I could not cross it. - Multiplayer community, where do I go to join up with fellow A-10 pilots who are willing to teach a rookie the more complex way of using the A-10 systems? It's actually very straightforward. Don't let the long post scare you, its just to show you what is going on step-by-step. All we're doing is converting a L/L degrees-minutes-seconds coordinate format into a L/L degrees-minutes format so that we can enter it into the CDU correctly (because the CDU only takes its Latitude/Longitude coordinates in degrees-minutes format and not the standard degrees-minutes-seconds format that we are used to). It's basic maths.1 point

I've posted version 1.1 of BFT06 to Ed's User Files section (pending moderator approval). I increased the MOA by 4000 meters so now if you go past the big river in the North then you will likely be outside the MOA. I also made it visible so you can see it in the mission briefing but unfortunately it won't show up on the in flight map. Please give it a try and let me know if you still have a problem with it.
