  1. No I don't have any mods and never installed them. Well, it's DCS being DCS, I guess. Anyway that's the second your campaign I finished, with first being Kerman, and I really liked both of them. Thank you for what you are doing, I hope you'll finish your new campaign for harrier!
  2. I tried it once more today, and it was blocker again. Also you misremember, you still have option to task Ronnie to attack even if you decided to attack yourself. I have a video, hope that helps: It is a bummer that it happened in the last mission, many previous missions worked flawlessly
  3. Hey, I loved the campaign! I'm currently on last mission, and after ascepting second task (RPG and mortar team) and destroying it, nothing happens. I leveled outpost and all infantry too for a good measure, and dropped another GBU on already dead mortars, just to be sure. I then told Ronnie to attack it, it didn't help. After like 15 minutes I had to quit the mission... Any idea what can be wrong? I talked tiwh JTAC on 2 preset freq on FM, if that helps, and he answered to me prior to the attack, but after clearing me to attack he disapppeared. I wasn't hit either, I checked the logs. I want to finish the mission, but do not want to get stuck again not knowing what to do.
  4. I finished M14 today and I tried to do M15 several times, but I just got really frustrated. It is not that it is hard, but: one time Harir spawned right behind me and killed instantly no chance (having read Raven one I've known something like that should happen, still no time to react); three times it failed to load and CTD'd (had no such issues before); five times (!) Hariri didn't spawn at all (maybe we killed phantoms too fast?), so other triggers went dead. Maybe I could have landed and completed the mission but if felt like cheating; and finally Hariri appeared in the middle of the fight, shot down Weed, I dragged him in turn fight and got him with guns. I had 4k fuel left and was confident that I finally did it, but tanker on Majenta track was pretty fast at 300kts and 100nm away from me, and he was extending away, so I flamed out 5nm from him. Anyway I loved the campaign, it was great fun. Thanks BD!
  5. I recently got into harrier and tried the campaign. Outstanding work, even without knowing who made it I guessed it right from the briefing of first mission. I had a couple of issues, couldn't finish mission 3 cause after second attack with LGB's my wingman stopped responding after "cleared hot", so i had to skip the rest. But when I spawn in on mission 5 and choose correct freqs I begin hearing voiceovers that don't make much sense, looks like from various parts of the mission, so there is no sense or way to continue, a that's a pity. I almost finished the campaign in one sitting. Thanks for your work!

  7. You are right. But 80% of the time one side or another have super-easy time of getting shit done, that is not challenging and thus no fun. I dont fly much lately for reasons, but when I fly - I fly for red, because I like playing when I am outnumbered and outgunned, and red usually are (at least when I fly). But you cant really "get shit done" when you have like 5-10 people online, 25% of which are newbies, half are russian and half are english-speaking, 25% of which on SR, 25% on TS and others without comms at all (BTW while I like the idea of SR and cant understand why the heck it was not in the game from the start, it splits the playerbase even more between different comms, making shit done harder.). I remember how when I played for blue there was moments when I was just casually flying in overloaded A-10C from target to target, leisurely killing them from 10-15k ft AGL without any interference from the enemy. It was super-easy, and it was not fun after a couple of times.
  8. Actually it is a problem, because this is PvP server, so when I join it I expect to go PvP, not to kill bots to effortlessly push the frontline only to see that it was pushed bach when I slept. I proposed to make fronline movable only for a short duration, say, 6 hours during prime-time. It will make people focus, come and play that time (or any part of it) with full concentration, knowing that their effort won't be wasted. Other 18 hours with unmovable fronline - "preparation phase" - is to those who like to grind 24/7. Make it so they can kill shit during that phase that will affect the combat effeciency during "battle phase" but won't push the frontline directly.
  9. We have only 2 hours difference, not that much. That means that we return from work "earlier" and have two or three extra hours to do something. Obviously we have to go to sleep earlier too.
  10. As missiles in DCS are stupid you can easily take down S-300 even with guns.
  11. I dont quite follow, but probably it is for a target on the max range for each given missile.
  12. You are not taking chaff resistance, maneurability and other things into account.
  13. Give them to MiGs at least. And yes, 530D is better.
  14. I was flying recently on 104th server, and R-27ER is allowed there, while ET is banned. That seems pretty fair to me.
  15. Literally unplayable after 1.5 hours.
