VRHANGAR_BLANK_NOSKY_VRPERFORMANCE_TEST dark.zip setup for use with ovgme , use 7zip to open and drag contents to wherever you have ovgme mods saved if you dont use ovgme the path in folders is same structure as dcs install , you can overwrite the original file but i dont recommend this. Cheers .

Can I "Play Sound" over a specific radio frequency?

this was possible and we had this running on 4ya ww2 a bit back , sr radio was the plugin for srs , was awesome but led to increased cpu usage on server after a day or so. if you run shorter missions or restart the app periodically its mint. -
Hi all , dcs ww2 has never looked better ... but yet it feels a bit empty... can we expect more ww2 assets , vehicles , ships , aircraft etc to help populate the environment ? Also ship sinking effects need a lot of work. Cheers .

Note , I noticed the sim runs better when the hangar model is set to nothing , anything you add in the hangar seems to drain resources as it will be there when you check f10 map so I did one of these dark and void , I'm in vr so every little helps lol

cows would be good .... think theyre there though ? seems to be a no go sadly oddly its on for the b17 already ? I'm easy as can tweak in video editor , just odd that other ground based ww2 games accurately depict wounds .... I'm still for it as an option good chat btw , i like the honesty . cheers all .

although its only a texture so fps effect is likely very low .

so the bomber boys bleed ,,,, b-17 tested last night ... or his tomato soup thermos took a hit ah only seeing your post now , yes i think it certainly adds to the serious events that are depicted ... possibly an option for gore off would be good though

Yes , I guess this is my own opinion . I would envisage this as an option for those who want it vs those , like yourself , that don't . Should be fairly easy to implement and the occasional bit of blood in what is effectively an air war combat simulator shouldn't be too much to ask really

its the fine details that make it for me , this would be another step towards more immersion .. as would smoke filled cockpits , gauges being damaged , fire in cockpit , etc .. i know these a list as long as your arm ahead of all these so it will never happen . but yes , agreed , to have the option to have this on would be nice . I'm late to this here party lol , I think a hint of blood pre death when a pilot takes damage is completely reasonable and may also make you be more careful next time , but I've read a lot of the opinions and can see those for blood are in the minority , I wonder if it can be modded for those who wish to add it however ? I mocked an effect up today now I just need to see how to add it to sim...

any update on the paratroopers guys ? do you think it will tank frames or is it simply modelling the paratroopers that takes the time ? the mechanic seems to be solid for the bail option as b17s when shot down bail a number of crewmen , could this mechanic not be simply supported and instead of the b17 crew have paratroopers bail from the door area on the c47 ... i know paradrops were used a lot so i get its not a high priority. cheers.
