  1. The responses are correct. If you are watching on an LCD screen, or even old CRT computer monitors, 60Hz is the maximum that is displayed. You could ramp your game FPS to a million and not see a difference. (This is kind of like watching 720p and 1080p screens side by side from 6ft away. Unless you're a pro videographer/editor etc. you won't be able to tell the diff.) Many new tv's/monitors from 2009 and later refresh at 120Hz, and some really high end sets refresh at 240. Still, the only way you'll be able to tell the diff is in very fast motion, like maybe the helo rotors.
