Must admit, would have thought this would have been fixed by now. ME seems to badly fail in this issue & would have thought it would have been a higher priority to be able to plan & run a TOT allowing for startup time.

Just definate differences, on takeoff, tanking, seems more stable. Not tried any BFM yet, but definately an improvement. The issue was there was no reference to it in the update, then BigNewey reckons there was no changes, & i made no changes to controls, very strange but heyho!

Openbeta guys, she's more stable on the ground, takeoff, tanking, & seems less responsive with a a/g loadout. I also fly it pretty much every day & have not touched any control curves. Very strange as i know a few guys who have noticed it.

Hi Moonshine, if it was just me who noticed it i would have put it down to that, but i know numerous pilots who are saying the same thing......very strange.

Hi Newy, my point is that it has changed quite dramatically since the last update, the questions is why was that not mentioned in the update & also why was it changed yet again. My understanding was that it was already "correct as is"

Since last update the handeling of the F16 seems to have been "dumbed down", granted the ground handeling seems better, but in flight she seems more sluggish. Can anyone explain this or the direction we are going with the flight envelope.

Yep, i got fed up with it & canceled it. One min its downloading & next its not. Canceled it cos it looked like it will take a all day to download. Update went no problem as shown?? Cant see why the download of the syria map should then be an issue if the update isn't.

Yep, same issue here. Weird thing is updater has just downloaded latest dcs update & have had no issues with previous terrain downloads, so i doubt it is a security software issue.

Same issues on a warthog, anyone know how to assign the "antenna elevation up/down functions to the throttle friction control. At the moment it does not show me the option to assign them to "joy_slider1"

Cheers Random, Yep i've been using the keyboard as you suggested, but the issues start on the runway, even when NWS is disconected it still wanders a lot more than what i'm used to. And as for landing, that just isn't pretty. I hope its just work in progress & it looks like i'll need rudder pedals but i just wanted to rule out any setting issues till i get more used to DCS. Appreciate the reply.

Nooby here with same landing & take off issues. Just come over from bms & f16 borders on uncontrolable for this. Firstly, i dont have rudders cos bms allows you to NWS with the joystick no problem, as far as i can see dcs does not give this option ( dont understand why? ) so it looks like i'm forced to buy rudders to have any chance of control or my flying just took a massive step backwards overnight. Can anyone confirm this is the current situation with the f16 as i had no issues flying bms. Currently using warthog stick & throttle, & if i do need to buy rudders any advice on what kind of quality i should aim for.
