  1. as the result seem to be mixed for VR due to the different models and techniques (not tried), would make sense to perhaps not incorporate for VR play but seems a necessity for pancake mode to be fair for all. A few downvotes seem to be based on VR testing, or not understanding how it works/the earlier build etc, so think the VR side would need seperate investigation, so I daresay the actual result of poll is higher than 95 if discount a few for user error or VR application
  2. Please ED adopt/adapt this, it levels the playing field much more and I can barely enjoy actual combat in DCS at 4k even on a 55" screen up close due to the issue, but the screen also displays 1080p poorly due to not being native resolution making that "cheating" option even worse
  3. If you bought your update on Steam and play on standalone. Rebind your licenses today, it finds a 2nd 2.0 license. Once added, it now works fine
  4. Sorry just spotted this thread, add me to the MeToo movement. Channel update bought on steam, never owned 1.0. I have 1.0 block graphics. Tried on standalone. Have the wrong licenses been allocated to everyone that bought for 1.0? Checking my ED profile though, it does say show " DCS: Normandy 1944 Map DCS: Normandy 2.0 Map " among my transferred licenses (when I synced licenses it only told me 2.0 was going to be added) In the module manager page it only shows 1944 as installed, I see some photos on here with people showing 2.0 on that page
  5. Bought the Channel update from Steam, I dont own 1944, but, I always have the low texture version. I've never owned 1944. Played on standalone version
  6. Ohhhh that one is a new listing!! Thank you
  7. Still no solution or confirmation offered for Steam Channel only owners though who want to buy the upgrade on Steam
  8. The $10 one doesn't show on the main DCS page - but if use the Steam app, find DCS in Library, and 3 option links show in there (the 3rd being the full price module)
  9. I can't even purchase from Steam as I only own Channel and there are only 2 options, "For owners of both" and "For owners of 44". The 44 one MIGHT work for me as they maybe just need to reword that one, but I'm not willing to chance the faff with having to refund and wait for license re removal and try again and so on
  10. Surely that though is the upgraded version of 1944 as the original is being expanded in size too, just with less detail. Looks to me like its running the 44
  11. I own The Channel. The 2 steam offerings are one for "For those of you who own DCS: Normandy 1944 and DCS: The Channel maps", and "For those of you who own DCS: Normandy 1944" Where is the one for me only owning The Channel? Steam lets me go all the way to the checkout (even trying the cheapest one oddly where it should normally say sorry you don't own both), but I'm reluctant to try either
  12. Really hope they fix this, as its the main module I'm trying to learn right now and it seems to be mad to be broke still after all this time
  13. Looks like it happened some point mid day (UK time) of the 2nd May....I thought it was going to run til the end of the day as was going to buy some more modules this afternoon after I'd been paid but when I'd went on it was already gone
