Pilotasso, there is something you looks like not understund. If we do some original aircraft, if they are well mapped, if they are well animated, if they met the ED s requierements, it would be definitively easier for ED ton integrate them in the Game. Only FM to do, all the rest will be done by Thrid party. And the IL2 series have worked this way for a long time with a quiet big succes. -

That s exactelly why i have make www.lockon-models.com. I think the best solution is to put answer and request about MODELLING ans TWEAKING the game ( and only, the Textures rooms of this forum is designed only for the new 3D models ) on this website. -

Ruggbutt, if you had DL the Objectviewer, you may see that cockpit are 3D model, like aircratf vehicule and so on.... -

I think you dont understand the possibilty of these tools. With these i can : -Put a new 3D plane model in lockon ( sure i use an allready ingame plane) -I can put new 3 D models foru tank , weapons , specifics to my new plane -Changing Meinit, i can adjust Weapons positions, weight, fuel load, speed etc. -With Object viewer, i can change and tune all my models very preciselly without lauching the game, chek the animations, arguments etc... -And, because cockpit are separated 3D object, i m abble to do brand new one for my brand new plane. - In the futur we can have some total conversion mod ( only restriction is to put same generation aircraft to stick with FM ) ( May be ED will release a tool to tweak the non use FM ? :music_whistling::music_whistling:) SO it s IMHO, the biggest step we saw ever in this game. BTW what are the modification you've made or plan to make ? -

Yes, thank you very much for the release of this wonderfull plugin and other utilitys. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: But... I've imported my models in the game without any problem. They are ( i think ) great in the game and works well. But no animations........ :( Is the animations may should follow certains conventions (IE name of mobil parts in the original 3ds file ) I've try also all arguments in loviewer but nothings works... I'm a quiet bit desapointed..... But once again THANK YOU !!!!!

Yes . I've make this forum for everybody to have place to share experiences about modeling and adding model in LockOn. Mirage IV (Lm format), is allready availlable there with his skin. Mirage F1 will follow soon, with at least 2 skins, maybe 3. It will be also a good place to speack about all differents models possible ( Aircrafts, ships, vehicules and more ) with a dedicated place for each catagory. Anybody is welcome, even for request or ideas or help So if you have some free time, i will be glad to see you there :) Cheers -

@Alfa : As you may see, the plug in works well :) But i have few questions - Whats about animations ? Mine dont works. More things to do ? - I experience some probleme wih my texture. A color change when there is other aircraftclose to the Mirage Any idea ? - And least, it s easy to change a model in Lom format. But there is only the F18 who is available. Any chance to change the file in .cmd ? cheers -

For the moving surface it s not working for the moment. I m looking for the way to make it mobile. And you' re right for the dammage model.
