Ok, will work on a track later. For now I checked the mission editor and both airbases are set for Dynamic Cargo. (Caucasus map flying from Kobuleti and dropping off 500 lb GP Mk iv's at Senaki-Kolkhi. Both bases blue)

Not sure if this is a bug, I'm really new at this cargo transfer in the Chinook. So first I carry a load of bombs to another friendly airbase and drop them off. In F10 map I click on the airbase name then select resource and check for the transferred bombs. If I transport the bombs internally everything shows up OK but if the same load is brought in by external sling load the shipment doesn't show up in the resource list. Curiously, if I click directly on the cargo box in the F10 map it does show in a warehouse list but not if clicking on the airbase name (resource) list.

Syria, although my Phantom seems to like Marianas best.

Don't know how much this helps but I've been dropping external fuel tanks as soon as they are empty.

After hours of working with TOO last couple of days I learned a couple of tricks. (Not to say it's all figured out). 1. Sometimes you have to undesignate and then redesignate the target to get the right one. 2. Different outcomes with HOTAS presses depending on whether you are in INS or TPOD mode. 3. Sometimes you have to turn TPOD off and back on again if you want MAP DES, SLAVE DES to display. In order to cycle through targets (As in a multiple maverick attack) using WP INC (T1, T2, T3 etc.) bottom right must display MAP DES, SLAVE DES. TPOD off and on usually gets to that mode the quickest. Still learning, now trying to figure out how to recover from finger fumble errors without resetting 20 miles off target, lol.

Survey: Has anyone been able to get "CMD CNT" as shown in this clip from Matt's video? I've had several successful ACLS landings using the above suggestions but have never gotten the CMD CNT annunciation.

In Matt Wagner's video he has an annunciation on the ACL screen (upper right) that goes from "ACL READY" to "CMD CNT" at 3.9 miles. This does not happen in Atazar's video or any of my tries.

This has been fixed by ED internally and is scheduled for next update.

+1 I agree 100% with Whurst1. Sometimes I notice Waypoint 1 moving fast and out of control so I select Data and see WP 1 moving on the map. Then jiggle the throttle mini-stick and get the Waypoint to stop moving, place it back to where it should be and return to normal.

In several custom missions my wingman has taxied into takeoff position on the Tarawa but has not departed after I takeoff. This happens in takeoff from ramp (cold or hot). I have found 3 ways to work around this problem- 1. Lower weight of wingman to VTOL amount (approx 20,000lbs) and set to takeoff from runway. He then follows me after a VTO. 2. Set all wind values to zero in the ME, he then operates normally and follows me after an STO. Or #3. After I takeoff I call the Tarawa and request "Inbound", the wingman then unsticks (lowers flaps and applies power) and takes off normally. JD test AI Wingman.trk

Good post Ted, totally agree. After many years with Lock On and descendants, I just assumed I would be 100% Super Carrier and Hornet. Imagine my surprise when I became totally hooked on the Harrier and Marine type missions. Exclusively AV8 for months now! Totally obsessed with setting up FARPS and surprising the enemy, what could be cooler? So glad RAZBAM is continuing support.
