From someone that is rather new too. I recommend you go SIM to be sure. You're just going to switch to SIM after a while anyway and they have some different settings and you will definately pick up some bad habits that will make it difficult for you to aclimate yourself into the SIM mode later on. Thanx for the replies guys~! Something is amiss here...lol I have a command in my controls menu in version 1.1.0.7 and it reads "EngineS Start" right under the commands for starting each engine separately. But my buddy that I wrote this for has one just like your picture without the "EngineS Start" in it. He put up another keyboard and gave the Right Windows + Home keys a push and viola they started right up (after the clicks and buttons in the suto start go). I am attempting to attach a photo of my controls menu so you can see for yourself and maybe we can find out why everyone doesn't have that same setup. Thanx again for the replies! Wheels

Hello Nice Persons! I have a major problem in my controls is missing "engines start" command is not there and I cannot start the engines and they won't start individualy either and that command is there. The engines do run when you start a mission from air. Win 7 64 bit and tried 32 bit as well as redownloaded multiple times from both ftp & http servers with av software turned off. any assistance would be much appreciated... Wheels

Hello Nice Persons! Wondering if anyone can give me some guidance on a comprehensive list of stores used in DCS A-10C and how they're used. The manual is no help except for the very few descriptions it has and I am having a heck of a time getting any bombing reticles to show up in my HUD. The only one I have even seen was upsidedown unless it was supposed to be so? I can't honestly say I know how it happened... Clearly additional education is needed but can't find the right stuff. thanx much, Wheels

That's affirmative it is the China Hat Aft or the "C" key that recenters the MAVs pipper as well as the TGP. thanx, W__

After reading further in the manual I thought I might try to see if there is a centering key/command for the bombing or tgp function and you are right it is the china hat back which is the c key at least on the tgp. I will check it out now for the MAVs and post back. thanx again all, Wheels

Hello Nice Pilots! Need some guidance here I am learning MAVs for a week now finally got it to work but I have the worst time with the MAVs camera slewing pipper it keeps locking on anything and going off my HUD into something called gimble limits. It takes forever to slew it back out of there as well. I have observed on one occasion the pipper return itself to just above the horizon where it doesn't lock on anything and its ready for use as long as I don't move it over land. What I think I am asking for is, is there a centering key/command to bring it back to a certain location where it won't lock on the first thing it passes over. thanx much, Wheels

Thanx for the profile. Yes I did do the game update and news one each time I go in. I understand what you are saying about the exclusive profile but the profile from A-10C is not starting up at all only BLACK SHARK starts. Thanx again, Wheels

Hey All, Thanx goes out to Scratchy for the DREADED Controller ERROR I now only have two other small prob's I will go into one now: TrackIR is now starting under the Black Shark profile again since the 06 patch instead of DCS A-10C profile which are different. Any clues could be they need to update Natural Point so they will update our game folder. For now hand switching of profiles to use it is a drag but doable. Thanx, Wheels PS. Wouldn't hurt if you don’t mind to have someone post your TrackIR profile for A-10C and TrackIR 4 if you believe you have a good one would be most appreciated. W__

HELLO NICE PERSONS!! I am setting up some custom key bindings in A-10C's interface and I am able to do so except when I go to say ok to quit the process I get this ERROR everytime which knocks everything back the way it was. Moreover, I found a post where Nate suggested to try a TM Fix to aid in this str\uggle I tried it to no avail. Further, I couldn't open the SIM after the fix was installed so needed to reinstall it maybe there is a better fix somewhere needing some direction on what to do next. OS Win7 64Bit Ultimate. WOW NATE! Don't suppose you could pull one of these great layouts for the X52Pro out of your hat! My prob is too many buttons and not knowing what is actually necessary your info helps me with that but still how to do it is the difficult part. Wheels PS. Burner I found the defaults you indicated the path to but the path for the customer profiles in my version for some reason didn't contain the all important folder "DCS Warthog" the rest of the path was there leading me to the defaults must be a version thing. my version was Beta 4 then I installed the final last night so it is now "1.1.0.5" Thanx again, Wheels

Pretty close in the version I have I found :book: it thanx to the two of you in c:Users\wheels\saved games\DCS Warthog folder that wasn't generated right away. I ended up reinstalling the sim after saving a game there it was. :) Thanx again, Wheels

Just a thought but a squad mate of mine had the same problem but he just built on an arm sort of pad that clamped to the table and because both x52 and x52pro have drill holes in the bases for securing them he did so on this pad. Simple job good utility and got the unit he wanted that way. WheelChair

Hello Nice Persons! I wasn't able to find anything that matched... I and others that I fly with none of us are hearing any warning for any missles being launched as us no warning nothing but bomb lost wing or engine fire is the next thing you hear. Some one mentioned that one can turn these off and on but I wasn't able (probably because I don't know what to call them) find anything that fit in the controls options. :book: Any assistance would be most appreciated! Thanx much for the info but I right click on the shortcut in both regular mode and adminstrator mode and there is no option for window in there however there is one under the layout tab but it wants to have me set a size in some measurment. Any other thoughts would be most appreciated i'm in windows 7. Wheels

Hello Nice Persons! I am told that if I run FC2 in Administrator Mode that my temp folder will collect files from the last mission I flew, including, the trk file. My problem is when I run the game FC2 in Administrator Mode it gives my the windowed version of the game with a full border 360 degrees. I have the FullScreen ticked in settings/options yet I still get the windowed version. Any thoughts as to what I can do to acheive both collecting the last mission files and flying FC2 in full screen any assistance would be most appreciated? Thanx much, Wheels
