You missed the point. ED announced release of FC3 for September-2012 ("...The Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics will release Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 3 for Windows PC in September 2012..."). There was no talking about patch, or beta-version. Just simply announced release date. Things got complicated and they could not hold promise. OK, we accepted it. And what happened? The same story again: in December/2012 we received newsletter with link where we can download patch 1.2.3. Two months passed, and it is still nowhere... There is a saying around here:"...Wise man learns from mistakes done by others; a fool does not learn even from his own...".

Yes! It is more than five months since release of FC3 has been announced... There's rumour ED is going to rename the whole series to "DCS Nuk'em forever!" :-(

Tacview can be used for cheating as well. You could see live stream on 2nd monitor and thus have overview even without radar...

If I could set up in-game everything I can set up in TARGET, I would not bother with any profile. Unfortuntately, I can not (i.e. repetitive sequence, macro, short/long press, etc). Or better said I do not know how to do it. For example, for FC-jets I use just one button to cycle through all modes (1-2-3-4-5-6-1-2-3-4-5-6...). What is it and where can I find it?

I have been using x52-stick for a few years, and got used to switching profiles in game, depending on which plane I picked up. Now I'm using HOTAS Warthog and the only thing I'm missing badly is the same possibility. I have different TARGET profiles (for A10C, BS, Su25T) but when I joing game, I do not know in advance which planes are free, so I can not pick the right profile before firing DCS:W. I have to do it while DCSW running and sometimes it does not work (either Alt+Tab switching, or DCSW crashes, etc). How do you, THW-owners, switch profile in game? Or do you use just one common? I know I could set up joystick in DCS, but those settings are rather limited compared to T.A.R.G.E.T. possibilities (just simple key/axis assignment, no programming)...

This is clear and known to all of us. What I do *not* understand is: Why it is not enough to insert original LOMAC CD into cd/dvd-drive as a proof that I own LOMAC-license? Why do we have to install LOMAC, then FC (1.x/2.x/3.x) and then uninstall LOMAC? I see at least 2 negative points: 1. LOMAC installation takes quite long time (even longer than DCS:W+DCS:FC3)! cd/dvd-drives are terribly slow compared to disks (or even SSD). 2. LOMAC does not un-install itself cleanly! It leaves behind a lot of files (decompressed sound files of wtf), some registry entries, etc. And most of all: it simply does not make sense. If I want to install FC2/FC3, I probably do not want to play pre-historic LOMAC...

Do not forget ED announced realeasing of FC3 for September/2012. Honestly, I find it quite difficult to call this beta-version a "bonus" still in February/2013 given the level of misinformation we received... With all do respect, we (paying customers) already showed enormous amount of tolerance and comprehension. Now it's time for ED to show the same...

There are server-admin tools that can take care of this: he makes it once - might be coincidence, two times - he gets warning, three times - ban! Or you can contact server admin and post your track as proof...

There is definitely something wrong. Even with trully historic drives you should not have such a long loading time! I guess your computer is waiting for something (i.e. for some process to finish), or trying repeatedly to do something (i.e. connecting to some network-address which is unreachable), finally it gives up and goes on with loading...

There is no such a thing as "dedicated server" for DCS.

Honestly, I do not understandt this at all. How can something be stable, if there are instabilities? The sentence makes sense only if you want to say that there are "stable instabilities" (this after all might be very accurate description of the current state)...

Probably those hundreds of people are living in different universe, where DCS is far from being "stable". No offence man, but saying a) DCS is fairly stable and b) you never been kicked from server is a) bull***t and b) fairy-tale...

You maybe missed it, but that is exactly what we have now (without even asking for it). And honestly, I do not think it could be worse. Not only FC3 is screwed, but also (once in the past quite stable) BS & A10C...

Oh no, not again... :-( ED: do you release something *stable* at least till the end of 02/2013? I do not want to register for LLTM and travel 1000 miles with my rig just to find out there is actually no sim I could fly and after a few thousands "server disconnects" I can go back home...

LOL, indeed! But correct me if I'm wrong, is not "series" plural? And what about LockOn, is it not a serie (LOMAC, LO:FC, LO:FC2, DCS:FC3)? Anyway many of us are non-native english speakers, so the one who configures this question must take this into account...

Can someone tell me which game series are discussed on this forum??? I tried already dozens of various combination (LO DCS, LockOn DCS, LockOn: Flaming Cliffs Digital Combat Simulator, etc, etc) and alwas got "incorrect answer"...

Let me guess: 1. I think real values are classified, and if there is something circulating in public, those are probably too optimistic values (maybe weapon-manufacturing company intentionally "leaked" them into public). Might be that ED has other ways to get info, not just google... 2. Those 400km is maybe possible to achieve in "sterile" conditions: no jamming, only single target tracking, no terrain/vegetation-interference, optimal target altitude (how often do you fly in 20000m?), suitable weather conditions (temperature/humidity), etc. In reality it is probably somewhere in the middle between minimum (65km) and maximum (400km) range. Or even less...

If someone wanted to prove how prone to fatal problems (with impact on all paying customers!) this "master server" model is, he could not demonstrate it better...

Are you sure this list is complete and valid? Because I remember I had to re-activate FC2 after I upgraded graphic card (nothing else)...

IIRC HW-changes are "awarded" by certain amount of points, and memory upgrade alone should not require new activation. But if you just accumulated enough to reach given threshold, re-activation request was triggered.

Can I install and activate DCS-World (+ modules I purchased) on 2 computers (PC and notebook, both are my own)? I do not want to use DCS on both of them at the same time, just for the case I travel somewhere and take only notebook with me...
