  1. The developer/publisher has to request this. At that time, Activision did not allow retail activations on Steam.
  2. Why do people who have no idea of how Steam works insist on trying to tell the rest of us how it works?
  3. WOW, your level of misinformation is astounding. The publisher/developer are responsible for updates. Years ago, some publishers left digital versions out of date and just updated their retail disc versions. Since the retail market has died, digital versions now get updated as and when needed. All Cliffs of Dover versions run through Steam therefore all versions are the same. The latest unofficial beta is not on Steam but that is because it is unofficial and the publisher will not authorise the update.
  4. My A10C purchase is now recognised as a DLC purchase. Thank you for the prompt resolution.
  5. http://www.steampowered.com/steamworks/
  6. When if it was thought out very well, I would have to do none of what you mention as Steam would do it automatically.
  7. Thanks. Seems as though this was not thought out too good :(
  8. ABOUT TIME. Are The Fighter Collection still involved?
  9. Have you tried to sell it as DLC instead of a seperate store item? That would make more sense and as far as I am aware, will be less of an issue to get DLC listed instead of a new product.
  10. Any new news?
  11. Any news on this coming to a resolution?
  12. I can only hope. I dont know why ED have been soo reluctant with Steam anyway. Originally when BS was released, I am sure they posted on here saying Steam was not suitable for them. I really thought A-10c would have been released on Steam alongside the original launch. Yes, I am aware they make more money selling it themselves, hence the delay but I know some who have not purchased at all owing to this decision.
  13. Is the U.K Steam release being worked on or is that it?
  14. You see the EXACT same servers.
