  1. I disagree, there's a bug in open beta that emer jett won't remove TER racks with their job lot but instead just simple first item attached to it. TGP and ECM pods wont go off A10 neither. I think it is related to DSMS bug that it doesn't know that you have TER racks with ordinance loaded, if changed manually via INV from pylon (with 3 as quantity ?!) to TER, it starts act like should bee...
  2. AFAIK 'Bingo'/'Bingo Fuel' states for a fuel measurment that just allows RTB or divert 2nd base.
  3. I can add that among hundreds PC games, DCS: BS and DCS: A10C (prepurchase) are the only games that I bought to trurly support developers for their product, work. On top of that I spent 962 pounds to built job lot consisting TPH2GO, 3x22"LCDs, 22" Touchpanel, TrackIR 5 Pro, X52, Pro Rudders, Quadrant, VAC software as I was under impression for what they did by releasing such immersing simulator and I will go for TM A10 HOTAS as soon as will be avaiable on market...
  4. Same here... I found it not normal that head/pilots eyes are so not naturally close to front panel and above stick. If it was not affecting once moved aft, I wouldn't care. But by moving aft (and recentering TrackIR 5) HUDs data cut off, and that's not good. I hope that ED will get it fixed in final release...
  5. How did You manage to program 'mode selector' knob on X52? I can't find any wady to do it within SST software, it's just switches between 3 different modes (which by the way i find useless). Same non-program knob as 'pinkie' switch on X52 which also has no-program feature, which I found annoying as those 2 switches I would happily assigned to some direct activated commands (like real A10C nosewheelie button for pinkie or quite convinient A10C Pinky Switch for lights selector).
  6. Haven't noticed such problems, using F12 to center as well. The only diff when migrating same profile (one2one custom adjusted) from DCS BS is Z-axis (in cockpit length) is a bit too responsive, but its just tweak issue...

  8. Heh, same here. After downloading BS and load first mission without any study tried to go airborne just by using intuition. Simply was following obvious-electrics, fuel pumps, APU, then i managed to start both engines and was pretty happy. However couldnt understand why i can't go airborne even with maximum collective (?!), glance at rotor rpms - why is so low? Had to go trough manual to find out that have to set up throtle first ;)
  9. Hello, I've been enjoing sim for while. Still, trying dark/night missions those knobs (next to rear aux panel, altough not exactly-just behind colour flares panel) seem to not adjust brightness of what they expect to do. All other brightness knobs, such as ABRIS, HUD, Shkval work great, altough those intrumental internal lights - not. Is it just a bug in my version (1.03) all thats a common problem. It's worth admit that it is annoying during evenings while the only avaiable position (the other is to just turn those 3 knobs anticlockwise to 'off' position) is just to bright and causes distraction...   10. Running DCS:Black Shark on E7400, 3GB DDR2 and single GF 8800 GTX on 5040 x 1050 (TripleHead2Go), high details smoothly without any problems. Was expected to buy another 8800 GTX to get SLI, however single GTX handles game great.

Reporting mutlimonitor setup: Configuration with TripleHead2Go Digital, 5040x1050, 1 screen setup in BS options, results: 1.0/1.0.1c: Fullscreen menu/editor/game as expected - no glitches 1.0.2: In-game setup no problems. Menu/Editor-works only windowed mode, no big deal but I haven't found way to have it fullscreen...

As per FC2, adding lines in Ka-50\Config\autoexec.cfg as below helps to get back in-cockpit volume: sound.cockpit_world_volume = 3 I tend to have it at "1" value as this is good deal between new 'realism' feature (almost not hearable ouside sounds at all) to quite low volume, but hearable (ie usefull while dispensing flares).
  13. Does the new 1.0.2 patch includes updated 1.1 Georgian Oil War campaign as per official DCS site or its rather reccomended to update it after 1.0.2? I've also noticed that Missions folder has new structure-it contains 'bs' subfolder which acts as a default one (ie ...\missions\campaigns\bs\en\ is default) and placing anything in \missions\campaigns\ will fail. But there are still many .miz files hence question - how does it work now?
  14. Hi, With One Monitor it is plug & play and 30 s calibrating touch panel. With triplehead2go You go advanced and select (graphically and more specific by pixels) "zone" that might become interface as with 5040x1050 You want only [1680-3360]x[0-1050] to achive correct response. There are loads of option idiot-free and setting up panel takes from a minute (one monitor) to few (many monitors)-than You forget about it. BTW: Right Mouse Click is simulated by holding (having pressed) 'cursor' (ie finger) over specific-free to set up time (ie 800ms). Touch Screen and Panel those are same things-both of them will do but Touch Panel is far cheaper and imho more flexi. Regards (from UK ;) Jacek
  15. Yes, in fact that is Touch Panel, NOT Touch Screen cause as describe I'm running setup on 3x regular 22" Dell E228WFPc LCDs. Touch Panel is placed on top of screen and below bezel frame. It is connected simply via USB lead. Has great software which support multi monitor setup, ie triplehead2go. I didn't find any point of buying all 3 Touch Panel as mostly in-game we use middle (cockpit view) screen to interact with objects. External LCDs are widely used to have side screen views (of course you are free to move via 6 DOF TrackIR support).   17. Hello, Anyone using touchscreen or touchpanel as an addon to this game? I've been searching a while ago diff ways to improve immersive effect to sim and one day found touch buddy soft etc. However I thought that due to having clickable cockpit in that sim it would be good to have touchscreen to interact directly with all switches, knobs etc. So I've ordered one that would match 22" 16:10 LCS and finish my sim setup. I can say that the effects are great and compare to simple mouse-all around-clicking system as so far. Its not difficult as you would think to "aim" for correct-tiny space zone to activate object-its more likely to familiar with TrackIR itself. The only downside is there is no way to interact with SAI knob with touchpanel due to having uncommon way of using a knob (having pressed RMB and turning knob), but thats the only bit I found. Well, having complete setup for DCS Black Shark (including triplehead2go, saitek stuff and VAC) I'm providing a small clip to check the final: ${1}

  19. I've noticed that once on nights missions mad in ME spotlights/landing lights work great, ie on distances ~90m, however in night campaigns missions they are barely visible-almost not visible at all (ie if i didnt know its default position i wouldnt even know that candle is on :) )

Thanks, but that still doesnt explain how to employ it :) When switching up ADF on R-800L1 nothing get changed on main HSI even once wingman is broadcasting withinh 100m LOS (default communication freq 127500) and on ABRIS RMI2 (set up to radio) gets boxed in yellow and indicator dissapears :joystick:
  21. Hello, As above I've have just started campaign 'Deployment' after several days learning DCS and I just can't keep up with flight lead ! Please do not advise like 'trun NAV route autopilot'. I would like to know how to obtain heading to other fligh elements (AI or multiplayer clients) once I lost them off Line-Off-Sight. According to manual I can slave somehow radio equipment to have RSI needle directed towar transmitter, ie wingman. Once it works-does it work all the time or when someone actually broadcasting for lets say few seconds and then eventually loose its bearing? Second thought, once trying to use this feature I found that RMI (1 or 2) can follow VOR. What actually does it mean? I've checked that VOR states for "VHF (Very High Frequency) Omni-directional Radio-range" but that doesn't tell me anything that I understand in DCS world...
  22. While doing some training fly I wanted to check what would happen once I switched off all fuel pumps. I was hoping as naturally to lose both engines, however that didnt happen and dont happen at all ! You can increase collective and ka50 acts as normal (with fuel pumps on). Is it a bug or there is some kind of logic/technical stuff behind it?
