  1. Tried with a longer stick? I got no such behavior in 1.2.6 (haven't yet installed 1.5). Very mild for me. And the thing is a rock solid firing platform. The only jerkiness I got was when I was manhandling it.

As for the latter, this is only your opinion, not fact. Be careful not to start sounding like a broken record.

Long stick here, it's even better now. Control is smooth like silk, you can feel the rudder forces now and it's just like the other axis so quite homogeneous feeling. It's not less manoeuvrable just controls have the required stiffness (also rudder) so you can't move from side to side so quickly. Tried the quick dogfight, still better by far than P-51 and of course you and only you are responsible for pulling harder than stall. Easier landings may be and taxi stability. It's quite a pleasure to fly her as she's now (1.5).

  2. I'm with gavagai and Hummingbird. And the plane tends to pitch up by itself when it is about to fly vertically up in a zoom.
    - I think the same as you guys, pitch-up effect remains wrong. :music_whistling:
I'm also with you guys!!! Torque forces worked flawlessly before and still work may be even better now .

  3. I've seen a number of videos where start up procedures in the RW are demonstrated. They mention that you're supposed to turn the prop 6 blades--one actually counted them in the video--with magnetos and fuel booster off, and the prop is turning really slowly, like about 15-20 RPM. This is to get oil distributed on the barrings in the engine before the initial ignition.
It is exactly to be sure of the lower cylinder being empty of oil, as gravity accumulates it in the lower one after stopping. You can break the cranks if you try to fire the engine and lower cylinders are plenty of non compressible oil... If you can't move prop at all you have to remove lower spark plugs and empty cylinders by hand. Nothing to do with inline engines.

  4. Para nada, yo actualicé ayer desde el primer momento, por la noche cuando estuvieron disponibles instalé módulos, y hoy de nuevo el hotfix. Puede que realmente hoy se haya saturado después de que la gente se ha enterado de la versión nueva.

  5. I have R9 280x toxic, and i overclock it, even if i make medium settings without msaa i have bad fps.. is that because its just beta?
Nope, that's something else with your rig, drivers, whatever. Regular R9 280x here and as mentioned except for trees shadows killer everything else is perfect.

  6. I only find that fuel pressure gauge doesn't move while use the pump lever but only after the engine starts.

Yeah, looks like now you pump a bit, gauge raises slightly but not fully and only get to regular pressure parameters when the engine is started up. Don't remember but I think that was commented around here.

The feeling is quite good mate, taxiing, taking off, in flight. The new "trim tabs" option is fine, I think something very personal depending what you look for. Still 109 is a high powered aircraft and torque dealing is challenging with speed change.

  7. However, your settings don't seem to be the best for me right now.

For me the plane feels unstable, especially when turning hard right.

I'll stick with 0 on both for now.

Another thing, is it just me, or does the engine feel considerably weaker now?

I seem to need a much longer take off run, and in the air I seem to need a bit higher throttle a than ATA 1.2 to fly it, than I did before with ATA 1.2?

Yeah, sure. I tried +10 rudder -4 ailerons and that's better. Anyway any trim tab setting you use will work only for a certain speed. My setting works fine for ~400Km/H, may be a bit more. Lower or higher speeds results in the aircraft untrimmed as always :smilewink:. I'll give a try for a time and decide if I like and it worth the while or not.

Yes the module has been underpowered. It's being discussed she was overpowered and had too high climb speed so it's fixed to historical values. Anyway I also feel her too weak in some points. May we have to get used. Take off run is fine for me, still 1.3 ATA gets you airborne sooner than expected :smilewink:.

  8. For me FPS killer is clearly trees shadows. I've tried different settings and there's a difference between High, Med and Low, but anyway just getting close or zooming at any forest kills the FPS to 10 - 15 from 40-60 (V sync ON). I can forget about everything else in High/Ultra, but shadows. Otherwise far better overall FPS and smoothness than old engine.

  9. Bf109 have no sound in cockpit except ground comms. Not only 109 own sounds but even external sounds like other aircraft aren't listened. Sound from external view works apparently.

Edit: forget to mention, the 109 is previously installed module as module manager isn't working right now.

Edit2: seems to happen with cockpit closed only, opening cockpit you can listen both external and your own sounds.

  10. Only the professional, or expert pilots can understand the great importance of trim control in an aircraft.
Definitely!!! So not your case my friend as you show all of us here every time your mouth opens :smilewink:.

The trim control is correlated with the weight & balance, stability and forces in controls.
Nope mate, you don't understand it at all, trim has nothing to do with weight and balance nor aircraft stability. Trim only has to do with releasing the pilot from manual work. BUT, it depends on the aircraft, control balances and stick forces because some aircraft are so light it doesn't even matter if you trim or not, you just hold the stick here or there without trouble. You would now if you were a pilot :smilewink:. The only real problem with that is us using a cheap plastic joystick at home.

If you have the trim control wrong, this ruining completely the aircraft behavior, increasing the forces in controls (stick & rudder pedals heavy), increase the aerodynamic drag (surfaces deflected unnecessarily) and decrease a lot the general performance.
Negative mate. You are blatantly confusing the aircraft controls and behaviour with your own hardware performance, comfort, and behaviour at home. Buy a better/more comfortable joystick, look for a Joystick extension, whatever, but you are blaming ED and the module for your own fault.

If you are capable to understand these 2 pages, probably you can understand my point, and my worry with this stuff.
If you were able to understand every time you say something like that you're just insulting many people around here... other players, ED itself and its work, etc. In first place you should be polite if you want people to take you serious.

Even more, you didn't even read your own provided link as it doesn't name trim at all in weight and balance subject... shocking.gif (of course it doesn't)

That is the right thing that they must doing.
Aaand again, it's not right just because it's you who says. You don't dictate ED's work or policy, you can't order like that anybody. You're being quite harsh and rude here.

If the developers not listen our claim, will mean that they choose waste money and ruin their business. One of basic law of quality standard ISO 9000 is the customer feedback.
More insulting and rudeness. I think Sithspawn right now is reaching kinda saint status dealing with you. Holy Sithspawn :worthy: lol.gif.

Mate, really, I don't know how to say still being polite but you have a problem, a problem of yourself, and I don't think ED is here to fix your own problems. You don't even try to listen other people who try to help you, it's being a long discussion here about the subject and after all you where wrong since start. If something you achieved to prove ED was right with the module. Lets enjoy 1.5 when we have it and see ED's work with all the modules, also 109, and then we'll see what we have to comment.
