  1. Well the problem is user ignorance. The mission editor has that stuff on the bottom left side now.
  2. Thanks for the reply No that didn't do it. I'm pretty sure I used to have a toolbar the top from right to left with things like ruler etc. and now its not there.(When building a mission in the editor. That toolbar show up when I'm in the airplane maybe I am just remembering it wrong) I will try a full repair.
  3. I have no upper toolbar in the editor anymore. Not sure why. Is there a way to toggle it on and off? Maybe I inadvertently turned it off.
  4. This is not a game bug. What's happening is every time I start DCS my computer reassigns my usb ports so that a key binding that was say JOY BUTTON_86 becomes JOY BUTTON_52 Any ideas on how to fix it. I am using Window 11
  5. Did another full repair, its working again.
  6. Thanks for the replies. I'm not running mods. I try and run the ins before arming. I did numerous repairs. I uninstalled the f16 module and reinstalled it. because none of the above worked, I uninstalled a reinstalled DCS. It fixed it initially, then I copied and pasted things ling the config folder, missions folder and livery folder and now it doesn't work so I suspect it may be a corrupted file somewhere in the copied stuff. I will get a TRK file put together asp.
  7. A follow up. Its not working in single player now too.
  8. So, I have been having the problem of the INS not starting its countdown when I switch to stored heading. It works in single player and it will work in multiplayer only if I do an AutoStart. So it really is a multiplayer issue I think. If I start the engine manually it doesn't start its alignment. I have started the Viper many times before so I know how to do it. I don't start arming or flipping switches until the engine is at idle. I have done a long repair of DCS numerous time. I have uninstalled the module several times. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. Thanks for the reply. I figured out that was the problem
  10. I cant get the UK Bufors to fire at air targets. Don't know if its a bug or not. See attached Trk file. Flak testing 2.trk
  11. I think the WW II flak especially the British Bufors is messed up. They used to work. I have been able to get the German 88s to fire with the use of the KDO which shouldn't be necessary as you mention. Hope it gets fixed.
  12. Repaired DCS, removed all mods, deleted fx and shader files, all is now well. So disregard my above post.
  13. Yes, it made no diffrence
  14. Thanks Sprool that's what I was looking for.
  15. Nope, I don't "see" it ether. Don't really need one though. Just primer for about 10 seconds and that seems to work for me.
  16. The trim moves too fast with a POV hat switch. Need to have the ability to slow it down so as to make finer adjustments like you would in real life with a manual trim wheel. I would like to have the option as a mission builder to choose whether you spawn in with the wings spread or folded.
  17. I wish they would give us the ability to set a curve on the trim.
  18. So drop the default lua file in saved games?
  19. One of the anomalies is the hydraulic pressure sometimes will drop to zero with the engine running. I have seen it happen on the ground with nothing hydraulic moving.
  20. Well yes but you just make a copy and paste it back in after the update. I can't remember if I duplicated the folders in saved games or not. It work very well though. DCS did fix the issue in an update. Its no big deal I just enjoy tweaking things. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply I am assuming that you are doing this after first starting the engine?
  22. I would like to be able to slow down the rate that the trim wheels turn with the hat switch on the joystick, it moves too fast. (too sensitive) I remember having to do that for the Mosquito early on and it was with a lua file. I just don't remember all the details. Anyone remember that?

I do think the hydraulic pressure is not working properly though. I think it looses too much on spreading the wings and doesn't recover the pressure quick enough. I am certainly no expert on it maybe someone at Magnitude could just check it out.
