  1. "I know many of you are wondering whether I'm actually working on this project, and how it's progressing. All I can say for now is — yes, I am! It's moving slowly, but my life isn't just about DCS, and I'm no longer twenty years old. Still, for those of you who can't wait, I do have something to share. Work on the flight model has advanced, and the core systems are already in development!"😉  Here one chart for you:

  2. Hello everyone.

To start, I want to let everyone know that this update will be about what I am currently working on and that it does not include any new renders, but rather information about the project. I know that many of you are eagerly awaiting updates and asking what’s new. To clarify, my time is not dedicated solely to DCS—I have a job, family, and friends, and I also spend time with them. So, please don’t expect me to release updates regularly.

As you all know, my current priority in my free time is working on the Tornado project for Aviastorm, which takes up most of my time. However, this doesn’t mean that I don’t occasionally work on my Su-22M4 project as well. Of course, I have some new things in progress, and I constantly try to push the project forward whenever time allows. A significant amount of time is spent studying manuals and guides for this aircraft, as well as engaging in discussions with my contacts who assist me with the project. These contacts include former pilots of the Czechoslovak Air Force who flew this aircraft and ground personnel who maintained it. Their insights are invaluable to the project.

As many of you know, the project is currently on hold in part because I need to find someone who can help with the flight model and new textures for the aircraft. The textures you’ve seen so far no longer meet DCS standards, and I want to create a mod—or, if possible, a full module—at the quality level required for such projects.

I can share a few details that I may not have mentioned before. When developing a module, it's not just about being able to click a switch in the cockpit—it has to make sense in terms of functionality and simulation. It’s not just about the switch being "ON" or "OFF," but also about properly replicating the system behind it. Many of you have asked why I don’t just use the avionics from the Su-25T since they are similar. In reality, however, my goal is not to reuse existing systems but to bring the aircraft to DCS as close to its real-life counterpart as possible.

For example, before a flight, a navigation data card with coordinates for waypoints (up to six) and four airfields was inserted into the aircraft’s navigation system. This is one of the features I’d like to implement in the mission editor so that each pilot can program their own flight route.

So, as you can see, I have a lot on my plate. Even though you don’t always see the progress, it involves more than just development—it includes studying how these systems functioned, holding discussions, compiling information, and organizing everything into notes for whoever will be working on coding the aircraft’s systems.

If you’re curious, one of the most recent things I’ve been gathering detailed information on is the LO-86E system, which is used to control the warheads of Kh-58U and Kh-25MP missiles before they are launched from the aircraft. At the moment, I’m just waiting for photos and additional visual documentation from pilots to confirm how the system was used in the cockpit.

In conclusion, as you can see, there is a lot that I have to and want to create for you, and it’s not an easy process. However, I believe that in the end, you will be satisfied, and most importantly, I am actively working on the project. As you know, there aren’t many aircraft like this in DCS, and in my opinion, that’s a shame because even these older aircraft can provide an experience that many of you have never seen before. They offer a glimpse into how aircraft operated on the other side of the world during the Cold War, an era that is now almost entirely historical.

I am truly grateful that so many of you remain interested and are patiently waiting to see what can be created for you. Your enthusiasm is a huge source of inspiration for me to ensure this project is successful.

Once again, a huge thank you to all of you!

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas holidays and all the best for the New Year!

First of all, I want to thank you all for your comments and likes. This year has been influenced by my work on Tornado a lot. Some things unfortunately didn't work out as I had planned but some did and I had time to work on. Just like this year, for the next year I have a plan of what things need to be done and what I want to work on, step by step. I really appreciate your interest in this aircraft and I as always I try to do my best to bring you the joy and experience of flying this airplane at DCS.

Once again, my thanks to you, and I wish that the next year will be successful not only for me but also for you! 🎄🎁👍

    Okay, here we go again....

I dont know why the last posts needed to be "cleaned up"?

There is still a simple question(s) from "me" as an potential customer for this project to the Developer, aka: SVKSniper

Is this project on halt now?

    Is this project cancelled now?

    Is this project dead now?

Or to summarize my questions...whats going on with the SU-22 Project?

    Semor76 project continues😉

From the DCS Roadmap update thread: "Removed Su-22M3 from Roadmap by SVK-Sniper (none info about real module to DCS)"

I assume the project is cancelled now?

I'm under NDA and seriously aviators, I can't tell you what I'm doing or what I'm working on, and unless ED releases news, all this is just guesswork and conspiracies on the forum. And I didn't say anywhere that I canceled work on the project. That's about all I can say about it.

Is it final version of pilot? Never seen him b4) And will you work at pressure indicators near left wing? will they show real pressure?

And will Su-22 have any opening hatches on its fuselage exept 4 air intakes and speed brake?

    Now it looks very realistic👍

Also interesting to know about it`s turn rate

The pilot is the same, you can see it here:

As for the animation of external gauges, I think it will work. And on the cornering speed issue, it's early days yet, but the manual describes everything, so I'll do something about it. I'm also slowly working on both the external model improvements, and the cockpit animations are also in progress.

And finally, let me give you one small (but of great importance to me) surprise. I have joined team AviaStorm!  Keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned for news! 😊

  9. The last two weeks have been enough for me and my next work regarding DCS.😉 For now, I'll show you what I've been working on. The new cockpit for the external model is ready!

I really appreciate your support and favorable comments, many thanks!👍
