The worst part is that they seem to be befuddled by the issues. How can it be that reviewer after reviewer runs into issues, that Intel themselves didn't find? Don't they test their own product like a reviewer would? It's so embarrassing for such a big company.
That's exactly that kind or repeating pattern that made me distrust them. Even if they were en par with the performance, I would currently stay with Ryzen. But they aren't even close. That makes it even easier.
Take special notice of the Gamers Nexus video. Even the energy efficiency, the biggest selling point, isn't what they claim. No thanks. Intel is dead to me for the time being.

So am I. On the PolyChop Discord have been talking about aircraft helmets, and that they apparently filter out much more sound than people realise. Multiple people said that the DCS option "hear like in helmet" is still too loud compared to real life.
All this doesn't change however that Apaches flying a few miles ahead of me are louder than me hearing my own helo while sitting in the cockpit with the doors off. I do hope that at least changes. That's a can of worms we probably shouldn't open (again
). My personally opinion in short is that sounds is the sharpest tool to compensate for the lack of haptic and overall sensoric feedback when flying a simulation-game (there - I said the G-word). To hell with realism when it comes to sounds. I want an immersive audio that compensates for the lack of seat-of-pants feeling.
I want to get audible feedback for switches flicked, afterburner detent and so on. Even if that is not 100% realistic.
I know that this is a controversial topic and that a lot of people probably want to jump me for the above statement. To them: Save your energy, you won't convince me otherwise. My Joy with DCS won't be spoiled (much), if they go all-in with the realism-route for sounds. An option would be nice though. The "hear like in helmet" funtion is a good starting point.

It will give another life to the module!Sweet!
I‘m more concerned with inside cockpit sounds though. They were showcased very briefly only unfortunately. But definitely a welcomed improvement. I‘m excited for the full package.

good Job. Looks awesome.
I happen to notice that you have Crosswinds. You should upgrade them to FFB as well!

Guten Morgen liebe Mitglieder
Was also ratet ihr mir?

Interesting. Do you plan to make a kit for those who already have a Crosswind?
That‘s the actual idea. He‘s selling a kit, that consist of the 3D-prints and all the hardware except the Crosswinds and the motor-kit (which you can order separately from VPforce. The Assembly then runs on the same software as the Rhino.

That would be best, for both consumers and Intel itself alike: Intel lost a lot of goodwill in the last few years going from complacency (11th-12th gen) to having serious issues (13th-14th gen).
This.
Apart from performance considerations, I simply lost my trust in Intel.-

Nice work! Puts my workshop bootleg stuff to shame.
Thanks, that's the quadrillions iteration though. Practice makes perfect.......
There is still much more about FreeCAD that I can't do than I can do. E.g. I don't have the slightest idea how to assemble different object together.
But I'm confident that everything that I need to do can be done 'somehow' in FreeCAD. And anything open source is a force for good in my opinion, so I give them some slack for an unpolished UI and some bugs....

You only have 32Gb of RAM, and your preload radius is quite high, as well as a few other things you could drop. The below information is from the DCS log analyser:
Advice
- Change your pagefile to at least 32768 MB (initial size).
Tuning Tips
- Turn off SSLR.
- Turn off SSAO.
- Set Preload Radius to max. 60000.
- Disable civil traffic.
Tuning tips are recommendations for better FPS based on your CPU, GPU and RAM. They might result in slightly decreased display quality.
Looking at your page file the log says 9,216Mb which would imply a Windows system managed one. You should add a custom page file with an Initial and Max values of 32768, click Set, Apply, and restart your PC. Make sure that the page file is created on your fastest SSD (preferably NVMe), and that you remove any other page files so you only have a single one.
good advice
SSLR and SSAO are gfx options that in most scenarios are barely noticeable unless you specificaly look out for them.
I would add, since you mentioned that you have generally 180 fps and then dips, try limiting the fps to 120 upfront. There is diminishing returns past that (it's not a fps shooter after all) and it may open up some breathing room for your GPU and make dips less noticeable.
And if possible don't use the ingame limiter, but either Afterburner/Riva or the GPU driver.

Nur so am Rande. Die Cockpits in MSFS sind auch "clickable".
Was hält Dich davon ab, beides zu fliegen?

depends on the MB... many will now default to the "loosest" settings , some are even downright smart about it...
Correct. That's exactly what I've mentioned earlier as well.
Either way the MoBo will only choose one XMP profile for all sticks and if they are as close together as the ones OP listed, I would be very surprised if any problems would show. Also, using XMP profiles is technically overclocking. It is not guarantieed to work.
To be clear. I didn't mean to advocate for mixing wildly different Sticks. I would always stick at least to the same brand, dies, clock and main timings. Just in the specific match OP suggested I personally would confidently risk it.

Any difference in timings can wreck havoc with stability
"Any" is the wrong term here. As I said - memory timings and subtimings are controlled by the MoBo. You can always loosen the timings and the RAM stick will be happy.
Problems start to rise when you try to force the sharper timings on the inferior RAM sticks.
Regarding two vs. four sticks. Four sticks do put more stress on the memory controller. For regular use (and users) that isn't a concern. For all normal uses including XMP-Profiles it'll work just fine either way. It the edge cases (as always) like extreme (memory) overclocking where it will make a difference in stability.
I don't think this is a concern of the OP though. If somebody really wnat to go down that particular rabbit hole, I recommend this youtube channel. This guy is a wizard:

If highest performance in DCS is the main goal, I would stay with the X3D series of AMD if possible.

So I can put them together without any worries for my performances?I would think so. And personally I wouldn't hesitate, but of course I'm no authority and you take the risk yourself.

Ref of my current memory

DDR 4 a 3000MHz Corsaire Vengeance LPX 2X16Go
CMK32GX4M2D3000C16 3000MHz (16-18-18-36) 1.35VAre these two references compatible?
When you can't find the exact same specs you're playing it save when you dial in the less tight timings. Then it should work without issues. Depending on the sophistication of your MoBo it will probably choose the "correct* settings on it's own.
Just to be clear, you can (generally) mix and mismatch RAM. It will work, most likely without noticeable issues, it just isn't ideal in regards to performance.
A slight mismatch in XMP timings in negligible, since the actual timings are controlled by the Mobo anyways. -

I'm pretty confident that you won't notice any difference between 3000 or 3200 or two vs. four sticks. Just go the easiest and probably cheapest way and buy another set of you're existing 2x16 to make it 4x16. Just make sure it is the same RAM with the same timings.

That's not always accurate. A lot of factors enter into it, but as a 'blanket statement', saying four sticks are always slower than two is inaccurate. Reliable sources online say otherwise.
You're right. What I had in mind was the stability and potential for overclocking. But that doesn't apply here.
-
The easiest, least headacke option probably is to simply get another pair of the exact same sticks you already have. That's sure. If the small improvement of 2x32GB 3200 is worth it, pretty much depends on the price. But realisticly it won't be most likely.

I would like to increase my memory
I have 2 16GB sticks clocked at 3000 Mhz
and I would just have to buy 2 other identical sticks.
But I wonder if it is better for me to buy everything to go to 3200 Ghz.
Is there a big difference between 3000 Ghz and 3200Ghz?
Is the difference felt, or is it insignificant?
Please advise me200 Megatransfers are probably not noticable in practice. Double so since four sticks are slower than two (also barely noticable but still).
What are your system specs in general? Intel, Ryzen, Chipset?
The sweetspot for a Ryzen 5000 system for examble would be 2x32GB 3600 MTs

I think that is because Overclocking has lost its appeal for the most part. It is more an self-serving exercise to raise in the ranks of 3Dmark than actually improving gaming performance. Ever since AMD started to have the bios do 90% of the overclocking by rel. inteligent real-time auto-adjustement. The game was over for the most part.
I am (was) a passionate overclocker/optimizer myself. But it's just not worth the effort anymore. Not to say, that there is nothing to gain anymore, but for real world applications the actual gains are meh.
Add on top the accelerated silicone degradation - especially for Intel..... I understand that the enthusiasm for overclocking has cooled down a lot.
