What your thoughts on the AMD Phemom II X6 CPU? Does Black Shark, Lock On FC2, and DCS A-10 work better with AMD or Intel? Here are two parts i'm considering. I'll also need a bigger PSU and motherboard. What's the consensus as to which OS works better i.e. better performance/smoother framerates with DCS: Black Shark?

OK i'll give it a try. Both the eBay sellers are Trusted Sellers so I trust it's no scam because recently I got scammed on ebay and I had to open a fraud claim with eBay.

Thanks Sobek but I was just looking for a way to view each serial number without installing. I could be mistaken but I thought someone else from ED had posted a Starforce link so you can see how many Activations and Deactivation's are on the serial number. :)

Both DCS: Black Shark and LOFM2 are on there way from eBay sellers. They are supposed to be new and in sealed boxes. I want to verify that each serial number has 8 activations and 10 deactivation's.

You really have more than 8 activations when you count deactivations. If you activate then deactivate you get that activation back so for example you could be looking at 7 activations for as long as you have deactivations. When you run out of deactivations then you'll see those 7 activations drop by one every time you activate. And if it's similar to Black Shark you ask for more activations when you run out. :thumbup:

Viper does the activation process work the same as Black Shark where if we were to run out we can ask for a refill? And are we allowed to backup the registry key if we decide to do a reformat of the hard drive?

And that includes what amounts to stealing from the same people that were kind enough to offer you a free copy. :doh:

What we don't understand is that someone from Eagle Dynamics was being both very nice and generous to you by offering to give you a free copy. And you go ahead and applied another crack then you asked us to help you again. The bottom line is we hope you buy a legal copy and come back to the forums. I have never received anything free and if I did I would have been very grateful. I guess we still don't understand how you turned down a legal free copy from ED but continued to pursue an activity that is wrong because it hurts the developers who are out to make a living and recoup their investments.

If anyone from ED/Staff wants to know how he probably got around it, they can PM me. It took a simple Google search, which led me to figure out how it was done. I'm sure ED could shut it down with a simple update

And the sad part is, Viper was going to gift him a free copy and he turned it down because he was too impatient. At least I do give him credit for being honest. He wasn't like the others who said I just bought FC2 and I can't control the planes, please help me.

You were going to get a free copy and you went :pirate:. Makes no sense and then you ask us to help you when a cracked game is designed not to work and do some crazy stuff intentionally by ED. :doh:

I've never won anything so that would be a first, if not i'll buy it. :thumbup: Oh while we are on the subject of Lock On. What are the differences between Lock On: Original and Flaming Cliffs 1 and 2? My UK version of FC2 is on it's way but I never had FC1.

I don't know as my copy is on it's way but I do have the original Lock On and it's awesome. I think this expansion updates the graphics and adds a few other things. And +1 to you for trying to go legal it's the best way. :thumbup:
