Do you have proof you bought it? If so contact ED customer service. :) Try these links :) activation@lockon.ru More links here: http://lockon.co.uk/index.php?end_pos=151&scr=default

At least you were being honest not like the others who claimed to have this issue and never mentioned it was because of a crack. Like I said the game is very cheap and if you live in the US you can buy it for $24. This seller also ships worldwide. Click on this link http://cgi.ebay.com/LOCK-FLAMING-CLIFFS-2-EXPANSION-PC-DVD-NEW-/200487439144?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eadfb8b28 because the mods could delete it as they sell it here as well.

And what I can't understand is: 1) Support the devs so they can keep making games in this genre. 2) The game is so cheap. I just bought LOFC2 (UK) on ebay for $19.99 plus $4 shipping. You can also find Black Shark for a similar price.

Not only are we seeing new members with 1 or 2 posts but one users response when I told him to buy a legal copy was he fixed it by inserting DVD 1 disc in drive 1 and it was fixed. He never mentioned it's internet activated and doesn't require the DVD disc to play. :megalol: I'm not saying the problem doesn't exist but I Googled this problem and tracked it to a recent crack. And like I said if the problem is legit we all know ED will fix it.

I'm not trying to stir the pot but those who who have had issues with not controlling the planes are typically running in cracked mode in other words bypassing activation. I won't post a link because it will link it to a torrent site. But you can Google it and that's the main cause of that problem. I emphasized typically because that is what usually causes it. If it's a real issue then i'm sure ED will find a solution.

Thanks everyone. I just bought a copy from ebay (trusted seller) for $23.99 includes shipping. :) Can't wait for it to show up. :pilotfly: This is the one I bought from this seller. It has a 30 day return policy if I don't open it. Click on the ebay link just to make sure. http://cgi.ebay.com/LOCK-FLAMING-CLIFFS-2-EXPANSION-PC-DVD-NEW-/200487439144?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eadfb8b28 -

Anyone? :music_whistling: I can buy a sealed copy for $23.99 if LOFC2 (UK) will accept LO (US) version. -

Hi mates I have a question that requires a basic answer. :) I installed DCS: Black Shark and I turned off my LAN card prior to installing DCS: Black Shark. I keep my computer offline, that's why I disable it. I then turned it on to download some updates for X-Plane 9 and left the LAN NIC card enabled. I went to run Black Shark and it said my configuration had drastically changed so I needed to reactivate. Nothing else had changed in the computer. I finally figured out the problem and I was off and flying. :pilotfly: My question is and I guess this is more Starforce related than ED but an explanation would be appreciated so at least we know for the future. What is it about the LAN NIC card that would deactivate Black Shark? I would have thought a new motherboard, CPU etc but a LAN NIC card? Anyway thanks ED :)

Thanks for sharing your memorable flight sim moments. :)

Ooh very nice my friend

That's what i'm wondering to. I'm going to do just that and see if it improves when flying low.

For me it's the graphics, they look so much better than anything on FSX and runs Ultra-Smooth on aging hardware. They also give you scenery for the entire Globe. The planes feel so nice to fly. It's really customizable, you can create your own planes. Then there's the Professional Edition that's certified by the FAA. Honestly, I only bought X-Plane when it dropped to $30. I still love FSX but X-Plane is also very enjoyable. :pilotfly:

Hi everyone I have whats considered now an aging computer: E6750 CPU, 9800GTX+ GPU, 4GB of RAM I don't know the general consensus whether it's advisable to turn off PhysX. I'll say this I can run Black Shark on HIGH settings with a 1280x1024 resolution and 4xAA and 4xAF and it's ultra smooth until I fly low and approach objects on the ground. Any thoughts?

Wow is all I can say. The graphics are 20% better than what's on Flight Sim and at it's highest settings runs silky smooth on my aging computer because it uses OpenGL instead of DirectX. The physics model on X-Plane, planes seem to be a little more realistic although the planes in FSX are pretty good too. The only advantage Flight Sim X has over X-Plane are the add-ons available for FSX. I'm considering purchasing Real Environment Xtreme for X-Plane. I have REX for FSX and it makes FSX more pleasing to the eyes. I started this thread because I never gave X-Plane a chance and now i'm glad I did.

Would like an explanation regarding Activation
Rodney replied to Rodney's topic in Payment and Activation
Thank you so much for the explanation EtherealN. :) I have to do a format an reinstall because .NET 2.0 SP2 has registry issues so I have to start from scratch. -
Hi ED, last year May 2009 I purchased Black Shark in the US from Amazon.com and I have installed and activated it 3 times but forgot to deactivate it twice, my fault. Yesterday I installed Black Shark and after Activation I was left with 5 activations and because installing Microsoft .NET 2.0 for another Flight Sim that required it, it botched things up which requires a clean install. So I deactivated using the offline approach because my Black Shark computer is not connected to the Internet. I successfully deactivated by going here: http://proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php It now says I have 9 activations left, so far so good. Here are my questions which I don't understand. I wrote down the hardware code as part of the deactivation process. 1) So my questions are do I still have 5 activations left? 2) When activating or reactivating Black Shark do I use my Serial number and the Hardware code I wrote down to deactivate? This is what I don't understand, so I hope you can help me out with this. :) Thank you !
