  1. Dear All, this has started again, but now with HeatblurUiLif.dll. Can you also check this, please Heatblur/ED?
  2. Dear All, I have had a virus varning from the HeatblurUiLif.dll file and my virus protection deleted the file. After that the F4 module was shown as not registered, available for one day. I have repaired, the file was copied back but at next start it started again. Do you have any idea what is happening? I have updated my anti-virus software (ZoneAlarm Pro that is working flawlessly for 5-6 years fo me) today, before tried to start DCS.
  3. Hi Andre, Thank you for the quick response. I have dowloaded the installer from the link you have sent (the webpage still has the 2.40 as beta). Installed and however I have this meesge in the log, it works. 20:39:49.1391 Settings saved to path: C:\Users\stag1\Documents\SimShaker for Aviators\SettingsDatabase_beta.bin 20:39:49.2017 Sent: close 20:39:49.5048 System.InvalidOperationException: No process is associated with this object. Thanks for the swift response, really appreciated.
  4. Hi, I have a very similar issue that two guys already mentioned in the last few days: the sound module does not start at all (latest beta) and if I stat the Simshaker app (2.7.5) I get the same error as above> 14:26:58.4346 System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. No sound module in the taskbar. Do anyone has a workaroud?
  5. Hi, it worked perfectly before latest patch. If there was a bug, nowhere was reported. I could not find this in the patch notes, but maybe I was not careful enough
  6. Dear All, same issue here. I am not sure the community even knows about this feature, nobody seems to know it is there… this worked perfectly until the latest patch (last Thursday or Friday) thanks for looking into it.
  7. Hi, i have tested the F-16 and the Hornet. Other effects seem okay, only speedbrakes are very low. Guns, gerar up/down, etc seemed okay. I use the SSA and the Sound Module for a buttkicker.
  8. Andre’s. The Sound Module paid version. Updated to last (openbeta I think)
  9. I have also found that some of the effects are very small (airbrake is almost invisible at 100%) after 2.8 update Hi, With DCS 2.8 update my speedbrake effects are almost gone. I have set it to 100% but almost impossible to feel. F-16 and F-18 the same. Do you think anythink changed in DCS that changed this?
  10. Hi Pilots, I have a used TM Cougar base and throttle for sale. This is a real rarity: the base contains a mod by IJ Johnston, Über NXT gimbal set and a pair of Hall sensors from Cubpilot. The Throttle is also modified with metal bushings from IJ and Hall sensor from Cubpilot. The kit is for sale without the stick grip. The condition is extreme good for the stick base (it works flawlessly and I have some spare springs if needed). The throttle has some issues with the friction lock, but a new 3D printed friction pad is available so it is possible to repair. PM me if anyone is interested. Photos on request, the item is in the EU.
  11. Can be, but not sure. I always had the problem in SP.
  12. Hi, I had a very bad day after a similar experience. I had used the 'Location' tab to move the Saved Games folder to a new drive. I did not specify a folder, so it dumped everything to the new drive root folder... of course that is a mess, cannot be accepted. I tried to copy and paste the folders and made an even bigger mess, as DCS could not find my options, settings, etc. any more. After a few hours of searching and trial and error I have found a solution. You have to open File Explorer (Win+E) and write this to the path window: shell:UsersFilesFolders. You will see this: If you click to the Saved Games you will find yourself in the folder that you specified earlier. (If the Saved Games is not there, use the command shell:SavedGames command, it will show you where the files and folders are at the moment that is considered as 'in the Saved Games folder'.) If you did not specify any destination folder, than what you can do is to manually create a Saved Games folder here and right click onto the icon. Click Location and hit Restore default. It should tell Windows that the Saved Games folder is again in the original place and move the current files back to this location. However for me it did not work, so I had to move the files manually from the incorrect location to this Saved Games folder. Started DCS, everything worked again. After this, I created a new Saved Games folder to my other drive, and used the Location again to move the files to the new folder. Now it worked as advertised. If this does not work check out the below link, maybe the .bat files will work for you. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/23504-restore-default-location-personal-folders-windows-10-a.html The most important lesson: the Location tab of the Saved Games folder moves the content of the folder, not the folder itself, so you have to create a new folder and use that location as a target.
  13. JC, This calculator tool is awsome. I have spent like 15 minutes to set up 4 or 5 planes and works perfectly. Thanks for your work!!!
  14. Ture engough... However after calling 'Marking moms' or 'Inbound to carrier' they stack themselves up in a right echelon, I can't do anything about it, they keep this formation by themselves.
