  1. Correct as is, according to ED, no info on why.
  2. I really wish we would get an update, or some reaction on this subject. I guess this is going to be another case of ED failing to give an explanation and waiting till everyone forgets about it.
  3. Yeah, that gives me hope, that this is just a bug and the internal build does have the showcased models. Strangely, if you check the 2.9 Launch trailer, it is using the downgraded model, which is currently available in the game. The loss of files was just a hypothetical scenario I made up. What I'm trying to get at, is ED should be more transparent, even if the explanation is something embarrassing. Giving us the silent treatment, or being vague just sparks suspicion, speculation and mistrust.
  4. I really do not understand what happened and I wish we were given a straightforward answer. If it is a bug, just say that it is just a bug. If the models were downgraded, to improve performance, just say it. Even if the models showcased in promo videos, were accidentally deleted and there were no backups, so these were quickly cooked up instead, just admit it. I wish ED would stop being vague when it comes to stuff like this.
  5. Carrier deck crew do weird pirouettes when switching between animations. For example, after you salute, the shooter suddenly swaps to face away from the aircraft, then snaps back and plays the intended animation.
  6. Is anyone using 2.1.1? Does it have any drawbacks? Khopa suggests on GitHub we should stick to 2.1.0, but I am kind of curious, plus I do not know when the next stable update comes out.
  7. They can do it, even with 3 wingmen it is no issue. The A-10C, Georgia campaign missions all started on the runway, so it seems to be the norm in ED missions.
  8. Hi! I attached a .miz file generated by Liberation 2.0. liberation_nextturn.miz
  9. I tested it, just placed a few tanks in ME and had them drive around. They were not glowing. When I play a mission generated by DCS Liberation, they do glow, for whatever reason. I think I am going to post this on Khopa's Github instead.
  10. I do not use mods, this is on vanilla Caucasus. The screens are from a DCS Liberation 2.0 generated mission though. Perhaps that is the issue. I am going to check, if it is present in missions I create in the ME.
  11. I noticed moving vehicles have an orange hue around them, similar to the glow effect around burning wreckages. The effect disappears when the vehicle stops, or goes through water. I made some screenshots. Abrams' and Bradleys on the move: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5fqdpczcsjuBDedK6 Abrams tanks standing still: https://photos.app.goo.gl/pCEETvjSTQ6nFhv59
  12. I get INS DEGD caution, and I do not know what to do, to make it go away. Velocity vector is all over the place as a result. I wish there was an update on the cold start procedure.
  13. Truly amazing work Khopa! Thank you very much! This dynamic campaign generator finally makes the single player experience meaningful. I am so glad you picked this project up. I did not buy the Hornet and Supercarrier for nothing. All the practice I have been doing since spring, can now finally pay off in an unpredictable combat environment. The new version is pretty sleek. I have one issue though, which I reported on GitHub. I suppose this has more to do with DCS AI, but if you could find a workaround, or someone can suggest one, it would be great. AI flights run out of fuel, because they use afterburner excessively, completely ignore their fuel levels, plus they never give up fighting. They run dry, then they just crash, pilots do not even bother to eject. Few of the sorties manage to RTB. Most annoying thing is, when they make it back to the airbase, but run out just before they are about to land. This way it is impossible to accumulate aircraft, I try to mitigate the losses by manually adding the aircraft that crashed, because of sheer stupidity, in the mission editor, until I have enough cash to buy them back in the Liberation engine. This, however, kinda feels like cheating.
