  1. Sorry if that makes no sense. What I want to do is build a button box with latching toggle switches (in other words they stay up or down), but only have the game register one button click. So say if I have a toggle for electrical power, it doesn't make the game think I am holding the r/cntrl L button non stop. That brings up another interesting question. Could I program a switch to be kept in the on position for electrical power or master arm, and then have it turn off when the button goes back to off? I have search many threads and posts but I may as well be reading Chinese. I hope that makes sense, I am a total noob at DCS so layman's terms please. :pilotfly:
  2. I have 2X 4GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133MHz, can I get the same and have 16GB. I'm not sure what duel/quad channel mean, my board specs are below. Asus Z87-A 4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 3000(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666(O.C.)/2600(O.C.)/2500(O.C.)/2400(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory Dual Channel Memory Architecture
  3. Looking to get my first ever SSD and just wanted to make sure that a SATA III version would be enough, or would I need an M.2?
  4. Mine doesn't run so well, it runs, with decent FPS but lag spikes a lot, and from the specs here the main difference I can see is SSD and RAM, which makes sense. I'm still on HDD and 8GB.
  5. Clean, I have since uninstalled and re-installed on Steam as the last time I played it played fine on there. It may be a placebo that it plays a little better.
  6. I have found some good settings that look good and play well, with much less lag. I'll post them below, they may help someone else. One thing that still bugs me though, is screenshots are terrible, the wing tips look like saw blades. Nvidia Control Panel: FXAA: ON
  7. I'll look into it, thanks.
  8. I have just read another post about how much better the game runs in 2.5. Only for me, it lags like hell, stutters, freezes and generally low fps. The last time I played was about a year ago, and the graphics were just improved. It looked great and on very high settings it played smooth. After seeing all the latest vids about 2.5 I had to check it out, but even on max, it looks bland as hell. I can run it on medium with fps near 100, but get a lot of stutters still. I must be doing something wrong somewhere?
  9. I was just going to post the same thing. When landing after a mission my plane lands in the hills in the replay, I doubt it has anything to do with lens flare, I have it on btw.
  10. In a "shifted state" on the stick only my hat switch will work with commands containing a modifier key. All other buttons will not work if I add Alt or Ctrl. Does anyone know about these things?
  11. The mountains to me look very poor. Close up and far away, my graphics are on max.
  12. nvm
  13. The SU27 constantly wants to roll left wing down at neutral trim, if I add one notch of right aileron trim it rolls too much to the right. If I use the autopilot to level it, it will still lean to the left, it just won't fly level. Am I the only one that has this bug?
  14. I found the problem, after I programme any new commands, I save them, make sure the correct profile is loaded, but it still doesn't work in game, only when I exit that profile and reloaded it does it work.
  15. Does anyone know how to get the "shift" button working on this thing? All the profiles I've seen for various games never have it in use, so I can't be the only one having trouble with it.
  16. Thanks everyone, you were right Depth, force feedback.
  17. No, just the in game hat switch moves.
  18. I have assigned the trim buttons to a hat switch on my X52 and i can see the trim on the cockpit stick move when i press them so i know they're assigned properly but they seem to have no effect on the plane? What am i missing?:joystick:
  19. :megalol:
  20. We've had falcon 4.0,janes f-15,fa-18,something new would be nice,how about tornado GR4?Or eurofighter?
  21. Thanks lads all your tips worked,i'll see you up there.
  22. Good idea m8,i'll give it a go.Thanks.:pilotfly:
  23. The yaw control on my X52 is broken and has a mind of its own,i was wondering if the game/plane has an auto rudder feature to cure this. Also the trim commands don't seem to do anything,is this a known issue? Thanks.:pilotfly:
