  1. That looked pretty cool! Im really excited about VR in general, but finally having it in a flight sim is truly a dream come true. I only have the Huey module, but perhaps I'll pick up another tomorrow with the sale.
  2. THIS IS GREAT! I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! this is ridiculously fun. Im sorry I just noticed the reply. The Pimax 8k seems awesome, what video card are you pairing it with? great choice of music. I am not delta force old, just delta force 2: colombian connection old. was born there too haha. But still im familiar with the music you picked, great theme songs man. thanks for showing me around in the huey, thats exactly what I wanted to see, and including the map interface. always wondered how it would look. whats behind the map, a hangar? haha thats weird, but it works. yeah whats with the bright spot? thats an operational defect, grab the backup set haha. cant wait for my headset to arrive. good choice of drinks too, margaritas are awesome. I hope it was homemade. its worth the trouble! im gonna share your video in my server for our guys to see. thank you very much! and yes we need more helos. I can only dream about the day we get the Black Hawk, but for now the kiowa and hind will do just fine!

    Huey wish list

yeah, it allows you to place the static item "invisible FARP" in ME, that way the only actual equipment you see in the mission is the fuel, ammo and commo vehicles, no landing platform. This is the typical setup as a field FARP.

    Huey wish list

Thank you so much for the Invisible FARP! working great and it reflects how a landing platform is not needed, just a couple of trucks for ammo, fuel and comms. Quick set up.
  5. Yes I'm still noticing that, especially if the enemy is in between trees or buildings. Perhaps gunners not getting a clear shot is the issue.
  6. Great, didn't even realize that was possible. Now all I need is for the G2 to here here :) thank you all.
  7. Hotfix 57530 applied and issue persists.
  8. This happened after updating to the latest open beta at the time (57264). I had made no changes to the mission file and I'm not using any external scripts for this portion. On a flight of 3. Lead is client and the rest AI. -Take off from an airfield, the AI Chalks follow. -Fly for 3 minutes, Lead land at a PZ to pick up troops. AI land as well, no issue so far. -Take off from PZ and AI follow no prob. -Fly for another 5 min, Lead lands at LZ to drop off troops. AI Chalks turn around and fly direct to the PZ and land there. This is the problem. The AI Chalks are not RTB, they just land back at whichever grid Lead landed first. It seems AI will follow and land only to the first spot where Lead lands, regardless of the location. Then on subsequent landings, the AI wants to land back at that first spot. Even though the last patch did not make any changes to the Huey, it did make changes to the AI behavior and it possibly screwed something up here... "AI. Corrected the helicopter group landing" per the notes on the 57264 patch. Thank you.
  9. Open the SGS.lua and edit lines 106,113 and 220 where it says "SaveUnits.lua" change it to "SaveUnitsMission1.lua". Then rename this SGS.lua file to SGSMission1.lua, save it, reload it in the mission editor and that should work. Do that for every different mission you want to run.
  10. --=Air Assault Operations=-- https://discord.gg/Ux5TjKzYjt Rotary Wing assets support the Ground Forces. Their mission is to advance the Forward Line of Troops until the entire Area of Operations is captured. They need us to execute missions such as Information Collection, A2G Engagements, Air Assaults, Air Movements, Resupply, Artillery Gun Raids, CASEVAC and MEDEVAC.
  11. I'm really enjoying this script. It makes life so much easier, thank you very much! do you have a discord for CTLD by any chance? if not, maybe I could ask here. How do I deactivate a Drop Off Zone? I see a function for deactivate Pick Up Zone and Waypoint Zone but none for Drop Off Zone. thank you very much!
  12. Thanks for your input. Yeah normally (IRL) with NVGs you have a reduced field of view, and depending on what's around you i.e. cockpit panel lights, ambient light, etc you may see additional things with your peripheral vision. Wanted to see how DCS implemented night vision with VR, hopefully it's not too weird, but it still may need some adjusting to it. Thanks!
  13. I'll be getting a VR headset soon and was thinking about doing night missions with the Huey under NVGs. Does anybody here have some experience with this setup? How is the night vision displayed in VR? Would you see two green circles (as it should be) or would the entire field of view turn green? Thank you in advance!
  14. Hi, is ED looking into this at all? Gunners engaging is essential to assault operations. I hope this is being looked at. I'm not the only one with this problem. Thank you.
  15. Interesting. It's during the day, enemy is clearly visible. And only in multiplayer. If I use the same mission file in the mission editor, gunners engage. This issue had been resolved roughly a month ago, but it came back a few days ago. I really hope ED looks into it.
  16. Hi, thanks for the fast response! If you browse through the first post, they are using the minigun to engage infantry. 1-2 (AI) engages, but not 1-1 (Player). This happens only while in multiplayer using the same mission file. During single player both aircraft engage without an issue.
  17. Maybe sometimes. I have always been able to get refueled/rearmed while at 100% rotor, doors closed, and in either position of intercom selector. This is even with easy comms off. And at the same time other people in my server with same mission are unable to refuel. Seems like a bug, or at least an inconsistency.
  18. Hi all! YES this has been addressed, YES it was corrected, but seems like it has broken again. Using the same mission file (Flight of two UH-1H. 1-1( is player, 1-2 is AI), engaging infantry targets. while offline/single player, door gunners from both acft engage targets. load the mission file onto my server (stand alone, same open-beta version). Only the door gunners on 1-2 (AI) engage. check the server logs, effectively 1-1 is not engaging at all. 1-2 is engaging. ROE is set for FREE FIRE at all times. I even cycled to the settings to attempt to correct it. seems the problem only happens in multiplayer. excerpt from the server log is below. 2020-10-15 21:38:32.647 INFO NET: client[2] occupied unit 285 2020-10-15 21:38:43.743 INFO Scripting: event:type=birth,t=46953.03,initiatorPilotName=Hawker,initiatorMissionID=285, 2020-10-15 21:38:43.745 INFO Scripting: event:t=46953.03,type=birth,initiatorMissionID=286, 2020-10-15 21:38:47.007 INFO Scripting: event:t=46956.311,type=takeoff,initiatorMissionID=286, 2020-10-15 21:38:48.241 INFO Scripting: event:type=takeoff,t=46957.546,initiatorPilotName=Hawker,initiatorMissionID=285, 2020-10-15 21:39:42.023 INFO Scripting: event:weapon=M134 Minigun,t=47011.34,type=start shooting,initiatorMissionID=286, 2020-10-15 21:39:42.071 INFO Scripting: event:weapon=M134 Minigun,t=47011.38,type=start shooting,initiatorMissionID=286, 2020-10-15 21:39:42.819 INFO Scripting: event:weapon=M134 Minigun,t=47012.13,type=end shooting,initiatorMissionID=286, 2020-10-15 21:39:43.507 INFO Scripting: event:weapon=M134 Minigun,t=47012.82,type=start shooting,initiatorMissionID=286, 285 is player, 286 is AI. I would appreciate any suggestions to fiz this issue. Thank you.
