Just to make sure: This screenshot shows the post-reunification skin of "WTD 61". The Su-22 spent a very short time in that unit after German reunification for evaluation purposes, then was decommissioned; it never played any role in the German Airforce. So you don't want to waste too much time on this skin. What you really should include are the pre-reunification skins of the East German Airforce (GDR/DDR, NVA) of fighter-bomber wing JBG-77 and naval wing MFG-28.

Yes, correct observation, it probably shouldn't be this way. However, the turn rate is very low, too low to make useful turns during taxi. You always have to use brakes to taxi precisely, line up correctly on runway etc.
