  1. But what if the F-18C turns into F-18E. I think there will be much more people satisfied!!! I keep my hope to read E instead of C when official announcement comes. Anyway I will buy any Carrier Ops from DCS
  2. Thanks Sabre. These missions helps a lot!!! Keep your good work
  3. Thank you for your answers pals!!!! I think the closer procedure compared with RW is the one that I have seen in Savage 77th Sqdn. discussion forum posted by S77th-KonKuSSioN. So, you can let the ground crew knows that you are starting the engines using Position lights Flashing. Taxi will be in the same way: Position lights flashing and Strobes OFF. When you enter active runway for TO: Position lights Steady and Strobe ON and continue with the same configuration until you return to base and exit the active runway changing Position lights to Flashing and Strobes OFF. Formation lights (strips) should be ON during all the time from start to shutdown the engines, changing the intensity to low/OFF for Fence in procedures. Exception for the Anticollision lights (strobes) according to OPNAVINST 3710.7: “may be turned off when the aircraft is flying through clouds (to prevent distraction of the pilot) and when the use of such lights adversely affects ground operations.” Any comment form real pilots would be welcome. Again, thanks to all and specially to ED to let me fly this outstanding A10 simulation as real as possible!!!! PS: let me share an interesting document that I have found on the Net. http://www.bryanweatherup.com/gouge/API/FRR.doc
  4. According to AFI11-202V3 22 OCTOBER 2010 35 document, anticollision lights and strobe lights are different I believe that in the Sim Anticollision lights are the Strobe lights in the wing tips. My question is (in RW procedures): How should I set the strobe lights (ON or OFF) when you are "In flight" between Take Off and Fence In? Thanks in advance!!!
  5. Well.... let us know what is the aircraft name related to the next military contract order
  6. Yup.... I agree with DSC Carrier Ops - F/A18 or F14!!!!! Too much time without detailed Carrier Ops for jets in our flightsim community
  7. Carrier Ops....... Carrier Ops....... I swear I have read DSC Carrier Ops instead the real title of this topic :music_whistling: I am dreaming too much about the new DCS module!!!!!!!!! :)
  8. I have flown this mission in final release and the 2 helos stay in Tarmac. At the end of the mission the Humvee crashed into one helicopter catching fire!!!! I think the mission needs to be updated.:P I am eager for this campaign too
  9. What a Surprise!!!!!!!!!! Bloody mondayyyyyyyy Torrent downloading... in 3 hours it is MINE... my treasure!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much ED!!!! Outstanding work!!!!!
  10. Mmmmm did you try to press and hold T/O trim button ( I am sayin not just click the button but click and hold for one or two seconds)? Optionally you can shout at your instructor that you are pressing the f"%/@ button . No action in the sim but you could release your adrenaline. It is not recommendable to shoot the GAU-8 at the Humvee!!!
  11. Hi Joker, try to click the Monitor test switch (pitch and yaw switches will disengage) Engage again the four switches and press T/O trim Button. I don't know if I was doing something wrong before but it worked for me. BTW I got a Q- hehehe. What should I do to obtain a Q+ I have followed the Humvee closely and there was no claims from the instructor. Should I park in the middle of the blue hexagon and shoot down the engines at the end? Excellent initiative pals!!!! Thank you for your dedication
  12. My wish is: F/A18-E F-14C The huge arsenal that F/A18 can carry on plus realistic Naval Ops is my first choice for the next DCS aircraft. Come on DCS!!! bring us real Naval Ops!!!!!!!!!
