I seem to have a problem getting V sync to work in final release both through nvidia inspector and the in game option is there a fix for this somewhere?

its also worth remembering once trimmed for level flight you can adjust pitch by increasing or decreasing the throttle

This is usless 50 kb sec HTTP3 dropping to 30 after five minutes torrent just loads a small file and thats it , looks like I'm gonna have to wait a few days 10 hours download time is just not ok!!

Audio would be good theres nothing more unrealistic than having your screen coverd in writing, and less AI suicides

I had strange issues with it I made profiles for both FreeFalcon and DCS A10 and got everything working microstick and all but in both cases certain buttons just didn't do what they were supposed to. In Falcon it was TMS up which does the same in A10 it locks target except it didn't ! it showed up in settings as TMS up and in Targets device analyzer the right keystroke but no luck. In DCS A10 it was coolie hat left or right hold to make MFD soi ,the left or right worked but not the hold function and again settings was reading correct keystrokes. This rendered Target software useless for my cougar so its deleted untill thrustmaster fixes the bugs.

There has to be a profle in nvidia control panel before it will show up in inspector, if your drivers are up to date there should already be a profile for Black Shark there it is called Digital combat simulator black shark , if for some reason not then there is a button to the right called ADD , click this and browse for the .exe . If you are unsure which is the exe then right click the desktop shortcut for the game in question and click properties in dropdown menu "target" points to the exe. Now click Apply at the bottom of nvidia cp and close ,then start nvidia inspector and type in the box at the top the first few letters of the exe you want and it should show up, then make your adjustments to settings and click apply settings at the top right . That should do it, however because DCS A10 also contains DCS.exe like black shark although the start up exe for A10 is launcher .exe it tends to apply DCS.exe settings to A10 also so make them the same

Well I installed it and it runs on my XP rig and yes it will unite all your thrustmaster gear . I tried to make a basic Hotas profile for Falcon as an experiment what I found out is unlike Foxy it easier to program and understand and instead of making a profile in foxy and loading it in to the cougar each time you want to play a game you make profile and save it ,then you start game from the software and it loads the profile and starts game. The differance is that it tweaks the windows DX buttons and axis and applies your keyboard commands to them while its running ,when you close it they revert to default rather than programming the stick as such. I did manage to programm the dgft/cancel/msl three way switch and the air brakes open/close/toggle . The one problem I have is the game wont recognize some of the axis I can get the microstick y axis to work but not the x axis but that might be my fault and just to confirm my foxy profile is still working fine if I select emulation on so no worries there. __________________ winXP sp3 i5 3.640ghz duo core 4gig Ram Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 1 gig TIR4 Thrustmaster Cougar

I think a cockpit binoculars mode would be a lot more realistic than having to use zoom, in RL CAS pilots often use them to find and ID targets . Prehaps ED will do it in the future it cant be that hard to do

I found its better to disable the z axis in TIR profile and use the games zoom function its worth a try !

Use trim set the desired angle and then trim so the nose stays there.

I tried changing the SnapViewsDeault.Lua numbers as posted elsewhere and stupidly forgot to back up the original numbers!! can someone please post the original numbers for 1056 to 1062 so I can go back to default

There is an axis for wheelbrake I was unable to map W as a button on joystick but axis works . TIP assign a small dead zone

Was just flying an instant action mission learning to use the radios and got sick of having my view squashed against the HUD so I zoomed out a bit and was banking steeply coming round for another pass when I noticed the clouds being reflected in the paint on the nose of the plane !! now thats attention to detail.

I'm no expert but I think yes they do and also to reach the full range of possible comms you have to select UHF,VHF,FM and so on with the Mike switch on the throttle if you got it mapped (its worth it) you cant just press the keyboard comms button anymore and get access to the full range. I had to read the manual section on radios to figure it out but in this sim you can ask troops on the ground where the target is and how its marked then tell one of your wingies to attack it with a certain weapon from a certain direction, its fantastic most of the time the radios are tuned in to preset frequencies but sometimes JTAC has to be manualy tuned as do the airbases However the sounds are not finished yet so only subtitles work ATM

I dont think you cancompare the two really Falcon has its campaign engine and DX7 this has DX9 and 10 and no campaign, I actually think A10 has more realistic avionics than Falcon by the time I learn how to fly it properly they probably will have a dynamic campaign engine. I wont stop flying Falcon because of this I will fly both.
