Hi I have my trim controls for A-10C on 1 of my POV Hats and it works ok. But I am going to start trying to Tanker Refuel and I think I need more finetuned trimming. How do I try and create this in the axis options of the sim for my X-52 Pro? Thanx

Stopping Current Steerpoint changing to next waypoint?
hachiman posted a topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Hi. Sometimes i am over the current Steerpoint engaging targets on multiple passes and the HUD etc will make the next waypoint the steerpoint although i am not finished over the area i am in. Is there a way for me to make sure it doesn't change automatically? Thanx -
I was wanting AFAC. I have figured out how to do that, although i have seen a video where the F-16 calls in targets without being contacted first. I'd like that to happen if possible.

Getting an AI unit to scout/report and give coordinates?

Yes I know that and again thanks. But that f-16 is reporting on its own without any contact from the pilot first. That's what I'm looking for. -
Getting an AI unit to scout/report and give coordinates?
hachiman replied to hachiman's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Thanx JuJu. Worked like a charm. However thats for JTAC, and i was hoping to make something like this video. An F-16 starts giving info at 2:20. I would be happy with an MGRS coordinate though rather than bullseye, but happy either way. Thanx again. -
Hi. How do i get the AI to give coordinates for something/anyhting to attack? Do i have to make a particular unit recon or is it a script? Thanx

How do you string words together so they make a complete sentence using the stock sounds from the game for a broadcast?
-
Not sure I follow. In the editor I place a target down. I then measure the distance to the target and course from the bullseye in the editor. I start the mission and set an offset from the bullseye using the distance and course noted in the editor. This creates the offset waypoint which now appears on the tad and hud etc. I fly towards it. Course is perfect but the waypoint is too long and takes me past the target Thanks

Hi. Don't know if it's the game or my arithmetic, but i am making custom missions and setting up targets randomly on the map. I measure the distance and take the course and then just enter the mission and set the bullseye offset and away i go. Direction is perfect, but distance i seem to go past them by several miles. Is it me or is the offset bugged??

Hi. I am planning to make a mission where we have to destroy a particular building, but the building location will only revealed later in the mission. How do I get an AWACS or JTAC to report an Offset of a Bullseye in the editor? Thanx

Hi. How do i lower the sensitivity/speed of the Rudder for an X-52 Pro please? I am happy with the deadzones, but want finer movement for lining up A-10C gun attacks etc. Thanx

Hi. I have 2 parts to this question. 1) How does a Radar Guided Sam work. You get what I call a single system SAM like a Tunguska or OSA which does all the work, but then you get a Multiple part system like the S-300 which is huge and made up of many parts. So whats the difference between the single and multi part systems? What do the different radars like’ Search, Tracking and Fire Control do?? 2) Does anyone have a list of each of the component parts of the Multi Part Systems? So what is needed to make a complete system out of the various parts? Thanx

Thats it. Thanx HMA.

Hi I notice in the manual that it states that the speedbrakes should be 40% for landings etc etc. But apart from the eye i can't see a way to gauge this. Like the flaps is there an indicator? Thank you.

Thanx you freefall

Hi Sorry for my newbie questions. I have some questions about Navigation and Landing. I’d be grateful for any answers as I’m a bit confused. So far I seem to be using TACAN to get me within visual range of an Airfield and just landing visually when I see it. I seem to pick up the ILS practically a couple hundred yards from the runway, so obviously I am not picking up the ILS Glideslope far enough out. So altogether it’s messy. 1) Does ILS operate from both directions of an Airfield or just some? I notice some Airfields like Tblisi seem to have the 2 White things coming out of both directions with ILS Frequencies while others don’t? 2) If I get a direction and range from ATC for a landing approach for an Airfield do I get the ILS at the point in space as they don’t give a height or what else am I supposed to do? 3) And lastly are you meant to use ATC+TACAN+ ILS. Or is it whatever combination you prefer such as ATC+ILS or TACAN+ILS or ATC+VFR etc etc? Thanks for your help.
