Couple more quick questions. What is decent mode? I have tried to descend using the D key and nothing happens. I assume it's some sort of auto pilot landing thing, but can't make it work. Also what causes my Helo to slip to the left sometimes. My X-52 is all configured so it isn't that. But on the quick start mission for example i trim my helo to slow down and thats all, and suddenly my helo is slipping to the left. My rudder is centred so not sure what causes this? Thanx

Thanx Bumfire. But i think you,ve misunderstood my question or i phrased it wrong. If you press R, then you engage route mode, but route mode seems to go to the different waypoints, but not the height the WP was set at?? Thanx

Hi Just setup a mission for my helo to follow waypoints. I pressed the R button,but the helo just kept climbing as i still had the collective on. I expected it to follow the waypoints at the height i had set them in the game, but it didn't although it did follow the waypoints. Thanx

One other question guys. How do i shut the Betty up sometimes. She keeps saying to watch Ekran. I've tried Lshift+Lalt+V and still won't be quiet.

Yeah i only have TIR3. I think it's the TIR causing the issue. I could get this to work using the RCTRL+RSHIFT+# key the other day i think i had my TIR off at the time. Last night i had my TIR on and wasn't working.

My Trackir only has head movement as in looking around and not free movement. Isn't that vector expansion or something?

No doesn't work i am afraid. Maybe because i have TrackIR. So back to the my question above. Whats the key commands for the head movement as LWindow and F1 along with RCtrl+RShift+number key aren't doing anything?

Thanx Bucic. I tried the middle mouse button and nothing happens? However last night i was able to look behind the cyclic by pressing RCtrl+RShift+number key. However i can't get it to work tonight? I've tried pressing LWindow and F1 first and nothing. What am i doing wrong? Thanx

Ok. I see what you mean. I managed to move behind the cyclic. Is there not a snap view to that panel though?

Hi Cat. I'll check the key card for the pilot body command, but i can move my view left and right and also zoom in. But i am wanting a clear unobstructed view of the panel behind the cyclic without having to move the cyclic, so not sure what moving my head to left and right would do? Thanz

Hi Couple of quick questions. How do I see the targeting display control panel that’s behind the Cyclic without moving the cyclic? Is there a snap view? Also I see in some videos that there is a pilot in the BS cockpit, but when I am controlling the BS the cockpit is empty. How do I change that? Thanx

I have the targeting switch on all the time and have never had a warning or overheat etc?? I thought it strange.

When I am using the cannon or Vikhr I turn the laser on that’s on the targeting panel and seem to hit the targets ok. But on the left front panel it has a laser designator. I believe but am just checking that the laser on the targeting panel is for cannons and Vikhrs only and the laser designator on the front left panel is for KH-25ML, KH-19L and laser guided bombs only? And if that is the case you can’t use one of these to back up the other? Thanx

Hi I FC2 the D Key cycles weapons stations. However in BS you have a choice between Y or I for inward or outward stations. In FC2 i can press 1 button and cycle. I am just wondering if there is a way to prog 1 button on the X-52 pro to cycle between Y and I and maybe even throw C for cannons in for good measure rather than assigining 3 seperate commands? Thanx?

Sorry. I am just asking if there is actual training involved as in instructions on how to do things or just if these are missions where you can do things yourself in a training enviroment.

Is there Training though? As in voiceovers or you freeflight and blow things up you see?

Try not to laugh, but i uploaded a track of me trying full sim mode. I apologise for the first 90 secs or so as engine start up. And then the bronco ride begins. I put invulnerable mode on just so i can practice. You can see i have around 3 or 4 crashes and then the miracle begins. I manage to get some stability and fly(Sorta) although even when i trim my helo seems to want to bank right a little. Anyway it's a start!!. chuckle.trk
