Could someone explain a few of the Autopilot modes in the Su-25T please? 1+LAlt Attitude Hold 2+LAlt Altitude and Roll Hold 3+LAlt Transistion to Level Flight Think these modes could help me. Also can i turn these off by pressiing the same buttons or do i have to disengage Autopilot? Thanx

Hi. Just done an A-10 mission with some friends. They could press f7 and see ground targets in the external view, but i couldn't. Any reason why if we are on the same side? Thanx

I did a short track of 3 attack runs. I was trying to use the VIKHR. I totally get out out of trim at the start so try not to chuckle. 1st attack run i get of 1 VIKHR, but then accidentally change missile type which was a pure fluke on this track and not a normal occurence. Notice i tend to dive in. I luckily come up with a cluster bomb just as i fly over the targets so what the hell. 2nd attack I fly over the sea and gain some height while i come round for my 2nd attack. This time i get a couple of shots off although again always losing height as i tend to do my diving manouver. Notice the moving of left to right as i try and get the locked target to move into the circle on the hud to get missile launch. 3rd attack is basically a repeat of attack 2. 2 shots off and a diving attack with movement to left and right to move the locked target into the Hud circle. So thats most of my problem. The diving attack while trying to keep the target locked. I get so low i get grass burns or nearly end up in the water. Thanx SU25T.trk

Sorry to butt in, but as we are on the subect of countermeasures. In the Su-25T how do you know when your Electronic Countermeasures "E" and also your IR Jamming "Left Shift+E" are on?

Hi Guys. I'd be happy to fly with anyone to make myself better. But wouldn't want to commit myself to a squadron as it wouldn't be fair on them. Thanx again for replies.

Hi. I need a big favor. I basically am struggling with the flying in the game. I can take off, and shoot planes down, and hit things on the ground. But I can’t fly well. Particularly in ground attack mode and particularly the SU-25 models. If I fly level towards a ground target perhaps to use cannons’missiles or rockets i either dip down, unless I increase speed and that pushes my nose up. I’d love to just fly straight and level at constant height and speed. However even if I press “H” for constant height,then I need to do a fast speed or again my height starts to decrease. I watch the training videos and the tutor has things nice and level and seems to be able to shoot 2 maybe 3 Vikhrs off and I am lucky if I get 1 before I’m zooming over the target. I can trim to a point in level flight, but if dip my nose to line up the target, then I get the corresponding speed increase and I also find these finer lining up movements hard. With bombing I am maybe coming in at too shallow an angle and not getting the launch authed or I come in at too steep an angle which again increases speed and have maybe a second or 2 to try and get the pipper on a target before I have to pull out the dive. I’m sure in LOMAC you could press H for hold height and also J for hold speed, but I don’t think you can do any in the SU-25 and just 1 or the other in the T model and not both. What I’d really like is to fly with someone who tells me what I am doing wrong. I am available 7 nights a week 1900-2300 GMT. Although I am just asking for maybe 1-2 hours help in total. Or alternativey I record tracks and someon watches them. Although I am not sure if you can see the cockpit controls with these. I can use ventrilo or teamspeak. Appreciated.

Ok. I managed to follow waypoints just by following the black ball ended pointer. Although sometimes the heading and yellow bank indicator didn't match whioch still confused me. Just 1 last question. How can i tell i am in the right nav mode for waypoints for a mission and not say waypoints for a friednly airfield? Is there an indicator? I looked at the nav panel near might right knee and did'nt seem to have any lights on.

Is the image file for the satellite view in the game directory anywhere?

We are both using the latest versions of saiteks software. The file is a .pr0 file. He loads it up and it shows as an X-52 Pro. He then changes the type to X-52 and all the kew presses disappear.

Hi. I sent a friend with an x-52 my x-52 profile for FC2. I thought they'd be compatable but he says he can't get it to save as an x-52 profile. Any advice? Thanx

Hi Sorry for being a bit thick on this but i'm just not getting the tutorial video. :huh: I've inserted a picture of the HSI to explain what i am asking. There are 2 arrows. I will call the first 1 the ball arrow as it has balls on it!! And the second the pointer arrow as it has pointers.:smartass: The Ball arrow has 2 balls on it. 1 is smaller and solid white and the other has a black centre. The Pointer arrow has 2 pointers. A long pointer and a short pointer. Out of Long Pointer Short Pointer Solid Ball Black Ball Which points to the next waypoint? Also a question about the yellow bank indicator on the ADI. Have i just to roll my plane to the left or right in the dir ection it points to. Or am i supposed to align my wings with this? Thanx
