Just tried every map free Flight... F16...... DCS.exe in Task manager set to High once Launched...every time, as it defualts back to Normal @bignewy Could this be implemented into VR page on settings? 90FPS in all but Marianas, Germany and Sinai Not updated to hotfix yet......... Currently online.....Apache Persian Gulf ..getting Flash in Headset dropping frames from 90FPS to 45 fps for a measured 5 sec then recovering .. Curently on 1.40.. moving up Moved to 1.41 and got things running smoothish Critical part of ther flying is this from @Nuggetz if you don’t already do the following please try: Task Manager Details tab Right click on DCS (after log in) Select Priority and set to High, NOT Realtiime) Should help. But has to be done everytime you log in. Regards

In the DCS main page, with the fps views up I am getting loads of cores being utilised. Soon as I’m flying it’s now 1.8 cores … could this be the problem of stuttering?? I’m not that savvy on the motherboard aspects

Yes Ive upgraded this afternoon to the same......Flying both F16 and F18 the cockpits are consrtantly Vibrating or shaking, anyone else getting this??

I have all CPU's checked in DCS . exe task manager, but Im only seeing 2-3 max used in game,is this slowing things down i wonder?

Yes absolutely!!! Not easy to remedy.....Ill go for the .85 especially with the 4090......Been watching the CPU usage too...very interesting

Didnt sleep much last night so went through all of Talleymouse settings. Tried several options and eventually got to the stage of almost zero stutters and blur. Tried launch via Pimax, Launch direct from DCS, various and some minor tweaks to get a reasonable result. Personally It did require me reverting back to 1.40 version to acheive this. PC specs below. Regards

OK I have just update the Nvidia driver, which adds another factor. @Monty tried 300fps, then back to 120 fps and back at 72hz more stutters than at 90.... Just went online on the Mayhem server(4Ya UK aerobatics) and no stutters to 45 degrees from forwards, however beyond that quite a few. Out for the evening now, will pick up tomorrow.. Suggestions welcome.

Yes I slid it to 70 fps I have it also at 90fps in Nvidia controls app under the DCS tab. @madmonty I will try more experimentaton with that later.....

I have tried 72hz and stutters worse reverted to 90hz and as good as its got for me along with GPU running 9.8G-13.6G on a 4090. Regards

OK more testing latest PP update Launching from PPlay same results as Launching DCS independently! My go toos are free flight F16 Persian Gulf and Free flight Huey free flight Persian gulf.... Both rocksteady @70FPS Regards

Solved it!! I set up in Pimax play at 90hz but launch striaght from DCS... On my DCS settings... slid the FPS units down to 70fps...... everything on most maps no longer has stutters nor blurs Maps Like Germany, Marianas still have them as Im not sure they are optimised yet for VR... Now I can fiinally say WOW

Amazing clarity indeed!!... I have exactly the same spec as you PC and GPU wise I would be very intersted to know your final settings....Im still getting blur and stutters when looking left and right out of the cockpit... after two solid days trying to work it out. Regards

How if I use my settings with my trusty Reverb G2 (getting a smooth 60fps, no twitches, no blurring), I cannot reproduce the same with the Crystal Super?? In fact I cannot get rid of heavy blurring looking left and Right along with catchup stutters, no matter what variables I use in Pimax play. Any earlier Play versions that are clear of these problem please? Currently on 1.40. Regards

My set arrived yesterday and Ive found it uncomfortable most of yesterday. Also the headphones are lacking in Fidelity!!! This morning I integrated my headset into the pimax and it works superbly including improving the fit. Just by winding out the rear tensioner. HyperXcloud 3's excellent Fidelity

You rolled that back mate?? I downloaded the link to the 1.40.4. I did however update the Headset and controllers Some twiching going on looking out of the Massive cockpit More tweaking required. Regards
