Edit -- Apparently this problem only occurs when I create a mission in FC2, for example, the attached track file is a training mission I made. It won't let me lock on to multiple targets using TWS mode on the F-15's radar which means I have to use my missiles visually. 2.trk

Real Environment Extreme (REX), Ground Environment Extreme (GEX), and Ultimate Terrain X (UTX) make FSX so much better and realistic. Especially at night. I however, think FSX is more trouble than it's worth, even with SP2, it's quite buggy and crashes like crazy for me on Windows 7 x64.

Ok, well it's clear that I'm pretty much a noob. I know how to fly well enough, but when it comes to combat I'm lost.

No, they were pretty much coming head on to me. And it multiplayer, I can't even find things to shoot at. How are you supposed to find and see ground targets with a radar in the A-10? And in the F-15 I can't even see other planes yet they shoot me down with so much ease. I've watched all the training videos and know what everything on the radar means so I assume I'm using it correctly, yet I can't get any targets to show up.

I wish we could use the Harpoon anti-ship missile. Seems like they are modeled along with a bunch of other missiles in the game but they are unusable.

I tried locking the IL-78'and TU-95's at 40, 20, and 10 ranges to no avail. I would slew over the target with the selector and hit enter and the target would not be selected. This basically meant I had to use visual modes for all my missiles and could not conduct BVR combat.

Hey guys, I just purchased Lock On Platinum and have been having a great time with it, however, I am experiencing a small problem with the F-15. For some reason, sometimes I cannot lock on a target that is visible on my radar, even when there are no ECM's in the area. This is especially annoying when trying to engage targets beyond visual range and also when using TWR mode to engage multiple targets. I slew the target selector over the bogey (rectangle) and hit enter and many times nothing will happen. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?
