  3. They must not have been added to certain units in the ME I would guess. Yeah server is struggling with mission rotations at the moment. No one is online to restart so I imagine it will be down till tonight :cry:
  4. This will be due to the server restrictions. You can edit the track file to open external views etc so you can watch them. I'd advise getting Tackview tho... it's much better and less prone to corruptions than replays
  5. :megalol: It's 100% Pilot error from Nero and I being Blue For pilots in Red For jets... :smartass: I personally didn't notice it being from skin changes but from new units loading in e.g. the first time someone loaded up a SU-25 or Viggen. Once loaded it seemed to be ok until someone loaded up another jet or helicopter that was't already loaded. I do appreciate that my case might be different from others and am happy to play along with experiments that benefit the majority. I suggested to Alpen a bit ago about possibly loading one of every unit into maps (empty unit) to stop the lag spikes but he informed me that more units would impact server performance. With the limitations of the game as it is, I think we will just have to wait for DCS to improve networking or base performance. Vulkan will I'm sure benefit us all greatly so here's to doing what we DCS customers do best... Waiting :thumbup:

  10. 9/10 times no one is in the GCI slots so having one at all is debatable, certainly not 2. Just my observation.
  11. Ok so after flying quite a bit today.. the lack of chat updates is bad for two reasons in my opinion; 1. You can't identify friendly forensic incidents which as we have seen can be intentional. 2. It's fun taking the piss put your mates when you kill them. Although it is quite cool having to rely more on SA as I've often used chat to take an educated guess as to how many jets are up and where etc. I understand why it's gone for now and have no complaints. F10 map is gay! It can go.. plus we have knee-maps anyway

Given that the majority of work is being handled by one man I'd say that hes doing a pretty awesome job of updating the AV8B quickly as well as keeping us informed as best he can :smilewink:

  16. Hey man :thumbup: Have you been able to join other multiplayer servers without an issue? Lots of people complaining about this issue just now. Someone (can't remember where) said it appeared to be ram related from loading the mission and it just gets bogged down too much to handle. Hope u fix it man :thumbup:

Cold war didn't end until 1991, breaking down in the late 1980's The AV8B NA was born in the late 1980's Could it have been flow during the cold war... yes, if it really came to it I'm sure it would have. Unless you are making a historically accurate scenario down to the very detail, like weapons, aircraft, maps etc you are going to have to make exceptions. Just because something wasn't used doesn't mean it couldn't be used. Apply that very train of though to the rest of DCS and you have a very limited playing field. It's imaginary :pilotfly: Personally I think the Harrier fits in great on the server and adds more than it takes away. Since being added.. the Blue for side have seen a massive increase in the number of Strike missions and A-G engagements. So... who cares right? Well... with more blue players doing strike missions RED For have more targets who wont always be heads up... this is good yis? It also lets the mission designers keep doing what they are doing, making interesting scenarios rather than another air quake server. Red For has one advantage over Blue For in my experience.. A larger variety of jets to kill... :joystick: OR try and kill anyway. That shouldn't be underestimated.. Personally I love not knowing what jet I'm about to dance with. If only with there were more RED For. :cry: After all it's not like Alpen and Iron have let in a BVR Killing machine that changed the whole dynamic of the server.
