Thanks Sorin for the tip. I just wondering with so good computer you have you have most of the settings at medium or at none and still have 30fps. I'm just trying to figure out if I go with the 2gb or 4gb. I have in mind that the memory interface is 256bit in both of them. I just want good eye candy and good FPS. When you run your game with full AI all over the place how your FPS goes, those it stay the same at 30FPS or those it drop? Anyways Thanks everyone for contributing to the cause! <S>

Cool! but as I say maybe in the future I'm going for more monitors. One question with FPS 30 are you all in high the settings? I'm just that guy that prefer to spend now $100 bucks more that in the future spend more that $200 in a new card cause the old one is not good anymore. just a thought. I'm more concern if the card is going to fix in the board ? <S>

(right now I have a gtx 460 card 1gb) also have a big case. My only concern is that where the cards are installed the length of the can end up on top of some connectors and I don't know if the card can be fit to the pci slot Just want to be sure I buy something that in the long run I can still use it. I want better FPS. I'm only using 1 monitor but maybe in the future going for 2 or 3 monitors. Let me know, any help appreciated. <S>

For me the perfect scenario should be: If DCS is going to build HF planes they should come in pairs from different countries. Let's take the fighter for example. If they do a F18 or F15 High Fidelity aircraft they should have a rival with the same High Fidelity craft, MIG-29 or SU-27. For me is not fair fighting in MP with a HF F18 VS. a Mid Fidelity Su-27. The Su-27 only have to find me in the radar lock and shoot, wile the other HF F-18 have to really work and worry to mantling the aircraft in operation to attack the other person. That's my 2 cents. :thumbup:

Now it realy shows my true colors of not knowing a *&*&^ about pc hardware :D:book: is this correct and sorry for sounding in misbealive I will start looking for card's that are pci 3.0 wuju.

Ok now I'm confuse, My board only support pci 2.0 so that means I can only use those or I can use pci 3.0 in a pci 2.0. :huh: Let me know, so I can move foward cause this can open alot more of choices. Srry about that. Is the CPU the processor? So if so I have a AMD phenom II X4 965 3.42 GHz. Can you elaborate on the GTX 680 or a link, I always found different cards overclocked etc...? Are this one PCI 2.0, also always found PCI 3.0? I dont have a extra space to put a new computer I want to keep using the same one. Hi all, I want to make and upgrade to my video card, but my problem or doubt is is it worth it or not. I have a evga nvidia 460gtx 1gb pci 2.0. My motherboard is a socket AM3 - GA - 890FXA-UD7. I'm very happy with my board I havent have a problem with it also is a 3.4ghz, I have 12gb etc. So the motherboard only support pci2.0 16x and the lowers ones also, so what I see there are more better cards with more gbs in pci3.0. I whant a 2gb or + card. So I'm looking for a upgrade card for that 460gtx or isit worth it? Any advice from the pros? Thanks in advance, CO.

I whant to be good at the F-15, but I would not mind learning the SU-27 but in this one I will wait dor the 6dof cockpit, I use TRACK IR and I'm use to the all freedom movement. I use to fly the A-10 but is a long time that I dont fly it so I have to go back to training. Also the ka-50 but I want to fly fast movers now. So basicly F15 :pilotfly:

What is a good server to learn or where you guy's go to practice. It will be cool if there's a flying school server or something similar. Or any good squadron looking for new players not so new? I always end up in a squadron realising they are interesting in flying diferent planes that I don't fly. <S> All

I just stumble today with a couple of 1v1 F15 vs Su27, first me flying the F15 versus a good SU pilot, he took me out most of the time from long range and close range, seems they have better lock-on on me. I went in revers flying the SU-27 and it feels that the Russians have better and stronger missiles in FC3. Hopefully they fix it in 1.2.4 patch specialy the Allies missiles "120". I'm trying not to get frustrated with this, cause I'm going or trying only to be in MP since single player flying the F15 against lets say 6 su-27 and a couples of Allies jets it's nonce's. All of the Allies get shoot down fast and with no mercy :huh: <S> All

Thanks man I know is late and maybe tomorrow you can answer me this. <S> Its there a way to keep track of the jet and the missile's without zooming in so crazy becoming very hard to fly or using padlock track view "not real"?. I'm using Track IR and a zoom scroller that help me in distance view, buut, when I zoom in I can't fly correctly cause off confusing direction. FLARES/CHAFFS? I havent found a good explanation on whend and on what to use them? I think I have the concept but is not working for me in FC3. CHAFFS are for blocking or confusing Radars? FLARES are for confusing and incoming missile? "dont know when exactly to use them causing in a big amount of waste". If this correct then I'm very bad or this elements are not working correctly in FC3.:doh: Let me kow, and Thanks for your spare time!

So... I'm having this problem or curve learning that its making my training slower. My expirience with FC3 specialy the F15 is that everytime I fly around I get shoot down by unknow missiles and also my RWR or radar don't pick them up. I'm using track-IR and for that reason no padlock lock on missile view available. Its very dificult to visual lock a missile cause when the white smoke stop showing and is realy small you end up not knowing where the missile is coming so I'ts vey difficult to evade it succefuly.:noexpression:. How I can succefully evade a missile in FC3?, Those the RWR suposse to always keep a warning if I have a lock on or incomin missile? "Is this a bug if not happening or is not the level of funtionality or detail in this model of DCS? in my tactics, I don't whant to drop to level ground and loose the advantage of altitude just for traying to evade a single missile. Also to add, sometimes I can evade the first one "sometimes", is the second or third one that don't come with a warning. Or lest say that sometimes I notice that for some missile I have a warning "long missiles" and for the close ones the RWR idont pick nothing. Any help from the people that know's how to evade a missile will be appritiated! <S>:book::thumbup: Sorry for my writting, english is not my first.

F-15 Eagle-style Last year, we published a video recorded and edited by the 67th FS “Fighting Cocks”, from Kadena airbase, to commemorate the winning of the 2011 Raytheon Trophy, a trophy that is given to the top air-to-air squadron in the USAF. Now, the 67th FS has released some more stunning footage showing the squadron’s F-15C Eagle dofigthing during training mission over Kadena and the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately, the 67th FS is among the U.S. Air Force combat units grounded or affected by budget cuts imposed by sequestration: it will maintain basic mission capability (hence, it will fly much less than usual) through Sept. 2013.
