  1. Hi @everyone. I just want to say that I have ordered the Monster Rhino kit from David and the service and quality of 3D prints and everything has been amazing! David and Billy helped me to put it together and offered assembly advice as I went along. I was able to put it all together in a day, including testing and tuning. Big thank you to @Winger for the fast service and amazing work!
  2. Same here, ED help!!!
  3. Thanks! This worked.
  4. I started having a weird issue recently, when I am in the cockpit if I move my head forward the whole cockpit moves forward with it. I can't get my head closer to the panels/MFDs. I tried resetting my environment data in WMR, setup a new seating position, reset me view in VR when flying, nothing. Drives me crazy. Any feedback is much appreciated. CPU 9900K@5.0 Ghz+RTX3090, performance is not an issue.
  5. Same here, giving up on supercarrier take-offs for online server play for now.
  6. So, I got the quest 2 with link, I am using PD1.2 in Oculus Device Settings 4128x2096@80Hz, render width 3664 and 500mps compression using the Oculus Debug Tool. In steam VR I have 120% resolution settings and SS enabled, I disabled the smooth motion setting in SteamVR. In ODT I have AWS on auto. I consistently get 80 FPS in F/A-18C with large viewing distance in DCS textures on high, rest are standard VR settings. I am stoked! The picture clarity is awesome. When playing multiplayer, AWS kicks in and I am at 40 FPS, definitely playable. Will try playing with AWS ODT setting and set it to 45FPS setting to see if I can get the extra FPS as a baseline. I must say I am impressed with Quest 2, still plan to get the G2 one day, but for now this is a great headset for the money.
  7. Hi guys, I have core i9 9900K and RTX 3090, I am thinking of getting Quest 2 to fly F/A-18C, what fps should I expect at 90Hz and PD 1.7 the native resolution with Quest 2? Does anyone know the FPS numbers with 3090 or 3080 GPU and similar CPU to mine? I would like to wait for G2 but here in Canada we won't be getting it for some time and the Quest 2 is the only headset I can get right now. Or would you recommend Reverb G1 instead the quest 2? BTW, on original HTC vive I currently get 70-80+ FPS when flying low - including over cities. I am worried that the quest 2 will be struggling to get 45 fps. Thx.
  8. HP Canada is not even taking pre-orders for the G2 in Canada. I tried to get the G2 from Ebay auction but just got scammed (the seller never sent it) and currently had to file a refund claim after waiting 3 weeks. I do want the G2, but realistically I don't see it happening for us in Canada at least for another 3-6 months. I am currently on the original HTC vive and the resolution just sucks. I am still learning so I have to get super close to the labels and instrumentation to see what's going on. Quest 2 is the only modern headset I can get off amazon in 3-5 days. I did tons of research on the Quest 2, but the I worry about compression artifacts or the CPU/GPU overhead when streaming using the link cable option. I can get the first gen Reverb at around 350 USD (used from Ebay) or I can get the quest 2 (new) for similar price. I heard there are some head tracking issues and sweet spot issues with the first gen Reverb.
  9. Hi everyone, I am trying to decide between the first HP Reverb pro and the Quest 2. I have i9 9900k with RTX 3090 and I am wondering which headset is better for flying and visual tracking of other planes when in DCS. Those are the only headsets I can currently get in Canada. Thx.
