  1. Looks like i am going to do some searching to find out if there is a way to change the permissions in win 7 as i am the only user i thought i already had administrator permission. David
  2. Hi Luigi. Had a look in the temp folder as you said and the folder is empty, could i be doing something wrong when saving the trak, i click the save trak button in the debriefing window, give it a name like first eject,it has a default file path and click save, but can not find it anywhere! not even in the default file path. David
  3. Hi Guys. Looked in users/saved games and the only folder there is a demo folder. Now if i start Black Shark (version 1 by the way) if i go to replay then i can watch the trak,so it must be saved somewhere i think. David
  4. Thanks for the quick reply, looked there but the folder is empty,so i did not save it properly, shame i really wanted some feed back on my second flight and first eject, have to have another go and see if i can do it right this time without crashing or ejecting.
  5. Thanks Nate will do> David
  6. quick noob question, where are the saved traks saved, flew last night, saved the trak, and have some questions about it and wanted to post the trak but can not find it anywhere. Help please? David
  7. Hi Yall I read on here that people spend time just flying around to get used to the shark, now question is do you just start any mission and just go off on your own or do you have to use the ME and set it up in there if so how? David
  8. From what i have read if you have BS1 you buy the upgrade version,if you do not have BS1 then you have to buy the full program. As far as the wartog controller i have read nothing to say you can not use it,but i would search the forum to find threads with the pro's and con's of that joystick, the search function is your friend in all matters,i seem to remember problems with using A10-c joystick profiles in BS2 but then again do a search. David
  9. cool vid,thanks. David
  10. Maybe he is trying to prove he is a better pilot than the russians or at least as good:pilotfly:
  11. Sorry for the long delay but work comes first. I must thank Bucici for his link to sort out my controller. I have had my first two flights in the training mission an the first one was very wobbly, the second one was better but i still crashed on the homeward leg just could not get the altitude up and went down gracefully, will try to post a track if anyone is interested and has any hints where i went wrong> David
  12. Bottom of post 728 http://www.saitek.com/uk/supp/blackshark.html Will try their solution tomorrow night,to late now,got to be up early. David
  13. Hi Bucic Well it would have been nice to put the link to the Siatek site you put in your last post IN your first post,i could have been trying their solution out some time ago. David
  14. Hi Yall Sorry for the rant but had to get it off my chest. The joystick works fine in windows and from what i can see everything works in BS apart from the collective i can see no way to assign it to the throttle lever,i am running BS v1 and have no other controllers connected to pc other than keyboard and mouse. Any constructive help please:joystick:. David
  15. Hi I have been reading the GUI Manual and the siatek manual and i have been going through the forum to find help but to no avail!,so i decided to come here in the rookie thread for help from other X52 users, not an ambiguios answer like hey rookies have you heard about this thread, yes i did look in the INPUT OUTPUT thread and did not find an answer,do you personally use a siatek X52 if so could you please tell me how to assign the throttle lever to the collective stick,if not please please give your condecending answers to someone else. David
  16. Hi Yall. My new controller arrived today and am in the process of setting it up,so i have a question for X52 users how do you assign the throttle to the collective up and down,i go to options/controls/collective up select the X52 click add and move throttle back and nothing happens, now there so it seems i am doing something wrong but for the life of me i cant see what. so help me please as i want to get crashing then flying:joystick:. David
  17. Hi Yall. After much trying and tweaking (set the collective to 2 of the buttons on the base) i finally got it off the ground and hovering (not to controlled but am practicing),by giving the up collective quick short taps as opposed to a definite press, though as i said in an early post the stick seems so sensitive and am a geek noob at seriously tweaking the settings. So what you saying is that the saitek X52 is a better proposition for a HOTAS stick. David
  18. Thanks for the info on quotes, will not do it again,am going to have another go tonite, wish me luck.:joystick: David.
  19. Thanks for the heads up,will look at another stick, while waiting will try to get some sense out of the logitech, i need to get some practice in. David
  20. Hi All. Have just got round to installing the shark and setting up my joystick (Logitech Extreme3D Pro), which works great in flight sim 2004. I know that this sim is way different to most game type,so i have printed out the manuals and watched hours of vids and finally took the giant step and tried taking control and doing a controlled hover, now my dilemma is that when i use the throttle to raise the collective i move it a fraction slowly and the shark goes up vertically like a bat out of hell out of control, now question is,can i set the sensitivity of the throttle so that it moves more to the speed of the cockpit collective lever or am i not doing something right.:helpsmilie::joystick: David.
