As a member of our virtual wing, you'll join a community of passionate flight enthusiasts who share a love for aviation and a commitment to excellence. Our operations are structured around two scheduled flights per week, held every Thursday and Sunday at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. These flights provide thrilling opportunities to engage in coordinated missions, hone your piloting skills, and embark on epic virtual adventures with fellow wing members. To ensure that all members are well-prepared for the challenges of virtual flight, we offer a comprehensive training program that covers essential techniques, procedures, and tactics. New members are required to complete this program within 60 days of joining, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in our virtual skies. As part of our commitment to active participation and teamwork, we expect all members to fly at least one of the scheduled flights per week. We are an open place in which every Virtual Squadron can participate in massive multiplayer missions, everyone is welcome to join!

Carrier Air Wing 66 is a DCS World PVE multiplayer group, centered around US Navy fighters and operations. We currently operate two (fictional) US Navy squadrons; VF-119 "Tridents", flying the F-14B Tomcat and VFA-166 "Maulers", flying the F/A-18C Hornet. We focus on realistic tactics, techniques and procedures, and focus on flying and cooperating together, primarily in a PVE environment. If you enjoy fast paced action and racking up kills in PVP, this might NOT be the group for you. We are a mature and consistent group, that focus on learning, progression and having an inclusive and enthusiastic community. We progress through a qualifications program, where you learn the basic skills in aircraft handling and procedures (IQ), as well as basic weapons and tactics (MQ) and of course, carrier qualifications (CQ). After successfully completing IQ and CQ, you join the Wing on 'Cruise', which is our take on a dynamic campaign. We emphasize dedicated and active pilots who play the long game. We are more interested in people with a good attitude, good humor, who want to learn together with others, as well as put in the required stick time to improve.
