  1. Since I started playing DSC on a VR headset, I have struggled to use a keyboard, and faffing about with removing the headset to see the keyboard sort of detracts from the whole experience. Lets face it DCS is an awesome piece of work for the flight sim fan, just the best. So why the **** can't the apparently intelligent people at ED take a little time to sort out what to my mind is one of the most important factors. The USER INTER-FACE!!! Yes, its a sim with a lot of keymappings, so.... Give us all the possibilities actuate a key press. Radial menus and drop-down boxes are not new, but VR is, and ED need to keep up! Even something akin to Steam input API. Those modals are making you a fair bit of money, surely you would like to sell more. TBH, I would pay for a modal that could give me these options!
  2. This is exactly what I want. Steam controller overlay in my Quest 2 headset. HERE HERE!!! Please, please, please Ed look in to it for us...
  3. Can I ask, have you ever used Steam Controller API user defined in-game menu? I play DCS world and use a game-pad, but I can see the menu overlay on the Quest 2 headset. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  4. Steam overlay works in non-VR game. But I have not managed to see my menu's in my Oculus quest 2 headset, and from what I've read even if i do get steam overlay to show in DCS it will significantly impact on the VR quallity. IE. frame rate etc. This I believe is because the you have to run Steam VR as well, adding another step to the process of running the game. Is there no "in-game menu mapping software out there, besides Steam overlay?
  5. I would like to see a mod that allows keyboard commands to be made on an in-flight HUD command wheel. I've used such a mod in other games, and in VR I could just point a cursor at the switch in the command wheel and press select on my game pad. Any thoughts?
  6. Thanks, I'll look in to the UI Layer section. Great help!! Cheers fella. By the way... I started out with FC3, but have recently bought AV8-B & FA-18 modules. If you have mapped those to your game-pad I would be very grateful. Also I have now replaced my knackered PS4 game-pad with a Xbox360 game-pad. Again thanks for your time. I didn't know about the UI layer thing.
  7. Hi everyone, I'm just starting out with VR. I have an Oculus quest 2 and a PS4 game-pad as my preferred controller. In VR by looking at a clickable cockpit switch I can position my (mouse cursor cross-hair) on the switch I want to actuate, but now I need to map the LMB / RMB to my PS4 game-pad buttons any suggestions?
